Steve Hughes is a craftsman of comedy. Hecklers will have a few seconds trying to dim the light of a talented person. Never works. I hope to see Mr Hughes LIVE in future and I promise I won't heckle because I'll be too busy enjoying the gig.

Do you mean they were cancelled? Went to see Steve in Leicester just after the Bull---- He had 3 venues cancelled and ended up in a top room in a pub, where you could hear the hand dryer and band playing downstairs. Respect to him because I would have been totally pissed off, Steve did the gig like the professional he is. A very awake guy who knows what agenda is being pushed.

Good comedy is music. It'a all about timing and expression and the ability to improvise. To me, listening to Derek and Clive is like listening to a Beethovan symphony, I know every 'note' that's coming and still find it satisfyingly funny, especialy when I know what's coming next.

I've watched Carlin since 2004, like Steve says, he wasn't that funny. Carlin was just a legend at pointing out the idiocracy of America especially its corporations and government. Steves down to earth position makes him likeable unlike McIntyre et al. As a former metalhead, in the 80's and 90's his analogy on metal going underground while grunge appeared is spot on........
