RESISTIVITY and Factors of RESISTANCE || Insider view || in HINDI

In this Physics video in Hindi for class 12 we explained resistivity of a material and the factors of resistance. Resistance of a conductor is proportional to its length, inversely proportional to its cross sectional area. Resistance also depends upon the material of the conductor. That material dependence of resistance is the resistivity of that material.

Sir why potential is constant in a current carrying wire according to eqn E= dV/dr potential is constant if E field inside current carrying conductor is zero , but if electric field is zero then how electrons move ? Why potential drop across a resistor explain by electric field

well explained ....but by increasing the length(L) no.of free electrons(n) increases means F=qE=neE increases .. The conclusion is that 'F' is decreased by 'E' but increased by 'n' means 'F' remains constant means average velocity remains constant means current remains constant so how we can say R ∝ L?

the force is increased, but since the number of free electrons also increases, the force gets distributed between each of them, with the result that the net field per electron does not change. So q = ne makes no contribution here. The only contribution comes from E, and E depends on distance. More the distance, weaker the E is. That's why R ∝ L
