Penicillin is an interesting case as there is a story, possibly documented in Paul de Kruif's *1926* _Microbe Hunters_ , that Pasteur may have discovered it in 1877. "Pasteur gravely announced: "That there were high hopes for the cure of disease from this experiment", but that is the last you hear of it, for Pasteur was never a man to give the world of science the benefit of studying his failures.'"

Loves this show. And when 2020 happened. This was actually the first thing I thought about.

I'm sure you're probably walking back the idiotic statement of Covidiots. Given it turned out to be Convids 1984. LoL. But a good review of the Episode. I'll give that to ya.

Stories about vast conspiracies were a lot more fun when I was too innocent to realize how many people thought they were real.

Not all conspiracies are false you know...

google conspiracies that turned out to be true

@@AtticusDenzil Yeah, none of those are the sorts of vast conspiracies I'm talking about. They're either a small number of people conspiring on something specific, or "conspiracies" that do everything in the open because it's not actually illegal.

Great how you just non stop let your own personal politics bleed through with breaking an episode down

Yeah, I had to come back and say, he clearly missed one of the running themes throughout the show. How many corrupt governments, corporate entities, etc in the show end up being totally corrupt, manipulative, or directly responsible for the crisis that the sliders jump into? Its like this guy doesn't understand humanity at all.

The best part is they say there’s no cure but then deny real science for pseudoscience i.e. no penicillin🤣🤣🤣🤣

HI I'm a new subscriber and I was wondering if I could suggest an idea for a future video: What would a James Garfield presidency look like if he wasn't assassinated in 1881?

Well you lost me with the conspiracy part, still good review.
