I use the F30 and have zero issues side sleeping. Just about due for a new mask. If the F40 is out I will definitely try it

In my limited experience, that ResMed quiet elbow is **the quietest** exhaust. Hope this new version is as quiet.

they probably will make a f40i. just like they did for the f30. i couldnt do the f30i though i loved it but found out i was inbetween size small and small wide. small would pinch my notrils and i coukdnt breath probably but the seal was amazing. small wide i would breath alot better but would leak around my nostrils. hope they can make a size that it inbetween.

I couldn't keep the F30 from leaking around my nose without causing pain to my nose.

That Hurricane dryer with some Mask Bright. I really can't wait for the F40... I have been using CPAP almost a year, and of course being a veteran, it's hard to switch masks.. so I have bought probably 50% of my masks and always have leaks.. moved to nasal same thing.. tape my mouth..yep, you guessed it, no bueno... I do have facial hair... not no fraggle rock length hair either. Just been frustrating... I know I will have to buy the f40... but I sure want to try it... even trying to order the chin gear from knightsbridge. Have been talking via email sent me a link today to try and order...it doesn't work... so there is that... LONG LIVE Bueller?

Looking like it still has the split under the nose which I have to cut out because it's annoying if off-center.

I just got some samples at my sleep clinic and using one on a patient for the first time. So far I'm very impressed dude has a big beard at 19/15 no leak definitely an improvement over f30

I have the F30 and this looks much better with the pillow being softer for a better seal. I'll keep an eye out for it when it's released so I can ask my CPAP supplier about it.

I'd love to see if this works and get off my full face mask. In the past, I've had trouble getting a seal with hybrid masks. Maybe since they have three sizes to pick from, I'll find one that fits. I really hate my full face mask and would love to have an alternative.

Looks like a mix between the Evora FFM and the F30. I currently use the F30, had hopes for the Evora FFM but it dug into my cheeks which was uncomfortable. Excited to look into it.

Not a fan of losing the ball and socket joint connection but huge fan of the full silicon face cushion.

Please do a follow-up on F40 with: F40 is categorized as a "pillow" mask by Resmed, which affects cpap settings; per Resmed, there are issues with pillow masks and ramp; F40 issues with SmartStart: machine shuts off in the middle of the night.

Hopefully the nasal hole is bigger. I couldn't breathe properly with the f30 and had to buy f&p musk

I have both in my hands now and the nasal holes are exactly the same size. It doesn't arch upwards on the sides as much tho so if it was almost pinching your nostrils closed, the f40 wouldn't do that as much

Do you have any insight into if they will be releasing a n30 as a n40? I used to use a Mirage Activa LT Nasal Mask and have never found anything that keeps it on my face and makes my therapy consistent. I'm hoping for improvement in an n40? Trying to use an AirTouch N30... it is is bad.... Any ideas?

I am using this at my own expense because Medicare only allows me change my mask for free in 30 days. The Evora full face mask hurts behind my ears because of where the strap falls. The F30 this hybrid face mask continues to move a lot on my face,I’m a side sleeper. This F40 is very light and has a very soft and flexible mask. However, I had it on full face and it worked great but now finding out I have to put it in pillow mode, it leaks air, my mouth gets extremely dry and I’m inhaling a lot of air and I’m having lots of belching and flatulence. Will it hurt anything if I put it back to full face?

OK. The F40 looks real interesting. What I'm real concerned about are the magnet mounts. What if you have to tighten the straps fairly tight. How can the magnets possibly hold???

In my experience, they hold when a tight fit is required. I usually use an N mask, but have an F mask for when I get colds.. On very rare occasions, I find that the magnets disconnect. -DP

On the F30 they hold very well. Same with the N20 that I use.

The magnet on the mask has an inward beveled edge that acts much like a hook for the magnet on the strap. It's the same way a French Cleat works. Cheers!

For those of us with Goat-T’s (spelling) the F30 works, but I have to shove my face into my pillow to stop leaks. Als, tried the smaller nasal pillows, and my hair on my upper lips hurts a ton. You have any ideas if this F40 will work with goat-T style beards?

So I just got it. Instructions Say use pillow settings? I used it on mask for and feels like I have constant pressure under my nose (using air curve ASV). Coming from f20. Not sure I’m gonna like it yet

I found that strange too. I don't think that setting is really all that important tbh. If it feels more comfortable set to full face mask it's probably fine.
