I have been a CPAP user for the last 20 years and have tried quite a few of the Resmed masks, this is the very first pillow mask that I have tried on as the the older pillow masks were not recommended for the high pressure settings that I use (16-18), this problem has been resolved with these new generation masks, but I find to my surprise that this mask this is the most comfortable one that I have tried. It takes a little getting used to the pillows, but by trying out the different sizes you will find the one that fits, also the N30i nasal pillows are interchangeable with the P30i pillows, if you tend to move around a lot during your sleep this mask might be for you, also if you sleep on your side, and that side of the mask is been pinched, the other side will compensate, thus giving you the full prescribed therapy pressure.

I can't get the strap to stay in place. It slips up every time I change position, so I constantly have to adjust it. I'd like to see the P30 with a strap option that's similar to the F20.

These masks and nasal cushions turn yellow really fast. Can they still be used ? I've had two masks turn yellow within months of using and cleaning like every other mask I've had.

I prefer the dream wear as for some reason it’s hard to breath out from this one. Because of the front filter. Good design but this is a major flaw and no where near as good as the dreamwear one

It is irritating because small protruded portion of the mask insert inside the nose and vibrating inside the nose, it irritates the inside surface of the nose creates indirect infection over the time. It also enlarge the nose holes over the time. Enlarged holes have it’s own issues related to other unknown issues. My only aim is to write this to make aware users. Some people have perfect fit might feel comfortable with this mask but I assume there could be a limited people

The p30i has a major flaw. Major flaw. Because the air tubes are soft as soon as you lay on your side the air tube collapses and you are only getting half of the air. The only way this unit will work is if you tie yourself to the bed so you cannot turn onto your side. Junk, in my opinion. Mine is going into the garbage.

Hello there! All hollow frame masks will actually work the same. You will only get one tube of air if you are on your side, but that is how it is suppose to work. It will not effect air pressure. Take care!

I disagree ,i love this mask !! If you lay on your side hard enough to crush the head gear to the point air is restricted then the air flow (obviously ) will take the path of least resistance and travel through the other half to compensate providing FULL air flow at the nasal pillows.Air much like water wont just stop at a restriction lol ,Cheers .

@@curtbradley549 no it does not work that way . Pressure and the size of the tubes determine if the flow is restricted or not. Here is a simple test. Hold the head piece just in your hand, turn on the unit, now hold a sheet of paper in front of the nasal area and notice the air flow. Then squeeze one side of the harness and see what happens.

@@Cherishthemoment Hello again, your test may not accurately show what's going on. When you just hold the mask, and pinch a side, this is mimicking back pressure (your nose). And AIR FLOW may decrease. But this only occurs when you are 'holding' it because the machine is running with a higher airflow, since nothing is connected to your airway yet. In short, when the mask is properly fitted on your head, regardless of if there is airflow in 1 or both tubes, the pressure will remain correct for your therapy. The airflow will change to give you the correct pressure. That being said, you may notice a very slight difference still between both sides clear and only one side clear. But it should not be enough to alter the effectiveness of your therapy. Check your AHI levels to see how it is being effected. It is very possible that this mask simply is not as effective as other masks you have tried. I personally do not use this mask. However, we find that many of our clients enjoy it and do not find the design to be defective.
