In case i use Akai Fife, for example, lights doesn't work properly as you are saying. Lights just doesn't go on or off or any other color. What can I do?

What are you using? I googled Akaia Fife, but didn't find anything.

I am trying out a Traktor Kontrol F1... The MIDI Velocity values don't have any colors appearing with the values or any other functions (like blinking). How can I assign colors or behaviors there?

Hey @bobbonniol , Do you have midi output enabled in the MIDI preferences? The traktor control software might also have options to switch modes. This is something you might want to look into too.

@@ResolumeVJSoftware Indeed I do. Really the work I had to do in the Traktor Controller Editor made sense - it was just telling the hardware what the control behaviors and midi addressing was, and then I just had to do the deeper work I hadn't yet tackled of experimenting with the midi mapping functions for each parameter in Resolume. I've gone on to add a MIDI FIghter Twister which worked like a charm straight out of the box, and is a radically cool and well built piece of kit to go with the F1

in case we have like... 400 clips in our Avenue table, could you extend the midi button table or are you limited to the # of layers and columns of the controller?
@ResolumeVJSoftware3 жыл бұрын
There is (as far as I know no limit). But if I were you, and if you are working with 400 clips I would split them over multiple decks. It is much more performant to work with 6 decks of 50 clips than 1 deck with 400 clips. Also... where will you find a MIDI controller with 400 buttons??
