Well, I hate to repeat what everyone else is saying, but Jeez, these vids you are making are so very good and so very useful that I've seen almost as much of you these last few months as I have my wife - and of the two of you, you've taught me a lot more about video editing in Da Vinci Resolve than she has.😀 Just wanted to say thanks! When my music vids go viral (only a matter of time, surely?) and I am the cross platform multimedia billionaire music mogul that I probably don't deserve to be, I'll be buying you a coffee and mentioning you in my acceptance speeches at awards ceremonies. Nice work, fella!

I don't usually comment on KZbin videos. I wanted to learn video editing but I couldn't cope up with long tutorials or any tutorials at all. Now I'm learning from your videos. They're long yet so simple and entertaining to watch and learn. Thank you so much for making such interesting videos. I wish you a very good luck 🍀

Insanely good overivew, thanks Casey! A lot of other creators don't explain the tools as they fly through so-called 'instant epic cinematic grading' tutorials. You're able to explain things thoroughly and clearly which really shows your expertise with Resolve

I cannot thank you enough. I am a late commer to anything like videography, youtube, etc. The only reason I tried was to try and raise funds for our cat rescue work by making videos. I would never had the time to learn properly and I really appreciate what I have been able to learn so far from your tutorials. I think it will be a long time before I can do much with the colour page and I struggle with fusion still - but hopefully..... LOL! You are a really awesome teacher. Resolve is awesome - but not much use on its own to someone like me, without someone showing the way.

Thank you so much for both the color page and just the basics of Resolve tutorial! I have cerebral palsy, and I’m in a wheelchair and I’m coming from iMovie. I know it’s not good enough and I want to do more with my videos, but even though Final Cut Pro was supposed to be just a step up from iMovie movie it drove me crazy because it wouldn’t work like it was supposed to for me to understand it , so I heard everyone in the world talking about how good Davinci Resolve is and you just made what could’ve been really intimidating really easy to understand so I really appreciate that. I think I’m going to be able to do videos really easily now especially since with my condition, all I work with is a WebCam so it’s not even really that complicated of footage to start with.

I learned so much watching this. I am a premiere refugee and some stuff I just could not find in resolve. All of the curves stuff for the hue and saturation was HUGE!!! Was killing me because I used all the time in PP. I just wish there was an eyedropper. This program just amazes the hell out of me as you can just keep stacking effects and the playback and the render time is still awesome. Vs PP where if you use the wrong effect at the wrong time your project gets brought to its knees.

I really needed this. Just bought the studio version and am slightly overwhelmed when playing on my own. No idea what's going on half the time. I'm unlearning decades of After Effects. Hey Casey! Just wanted to give a bit of feedback. Love your videos, and they've helped me immensely in learning Resolve (so glad I can do something in not Adobe). One thing I wanted to note is, zooming in and out so often makes it really hard for me to follow on-screen what's happening. I find it very distracting. If you don't get this often or disagree with me, obviously ignore this, lol, but as somebody who welcomes feedback, I try to provide it as politely as I can. Thanks for the vids! Love your channel!
