My tankless gives me an error 12 ONLY when I have the door on the front of the unit. The flame rod is new. No matter what I or the plumber do, it’s ONLY when the door is on.

MY code 12 on a newly installed (3 weeks) RE180EN turned out to be a small unplugged cable (out of the box) that went to a solenoid which I never identified. The unit was turning off when running a fixture in the house at a flow rate of approx. 1 - 1.5 gpm. What's odd is that it ran for 3 weeks before faulting.

Horrible ! I had to pay plumbers $125 an hour to be on hold 2 hours w Rinnai and wait for part to be mailed No hot water for a week! 1:20

Professional licensed plumber installed my Rinnai tankless water heater. 9 month later random code 12's. Plumber came out and told me to contact Rinnai for a replacement . Customer service is the worst I have ever delt with.

Rinnai customer support and full off terribly in the last 2-3 months...... Hour+ wait on phone isn't acceptable
