I know people have also talked about making her ult function as a replicator with 1 slot or a mobile respawn beacon but they come out of the ult instead of from the sky so your less of a sitting duck...Great ideas I totally agree with that, but it'd be a helluva lot easier for the devs to first off just adjust cooldown numbers and see how it feels for a season before commiting to a full change of an ability. Getting rid of her Shield was kinda stupid, being able to res with defense is needed in the game. At the time the shield was over powered but with new characters it’s balanced. A healing zone ultimate with the care package would be good or the tactical be healing zone instead of a healing drone rod thing.

I'm a day 1 lifeline player and seeing her now hurts me *HARD* MY IDEAS TO RE-WORK HER -Lifeline revives teammates with 25 more health and 15 shields -Lifelines revive speed increases on backpack LVL -Lifeline can hold 1extra heal and shield. example:cell, syringe, battery,medkit, phoenix kit -Lifeline has 1 self revive per game and she can self revive 50% faster with a longer bleed out timer, or slower -When lifeline is being shot from behind, her D.O.C bot can be deployed as a personal shield at a cost of using the D.O.C healing ability -When incapacitated, if lifeline is under fire and her knock down shield breaks, her D.O.C bot protects her with the d.o.c shield with 100 health. my suggested buff, health drone follows you around, its slower than a player so if u run too fast itll detach but walk or go a medium speed and itll stay with u ultimate has 1 extra item in it and now doubles as a respawn beacon, this would also make the package thiccer so itll be even better for cover as well also make the ultimate come down a little faster when ur teammates are alive because its too slow but if ur teammates are dead and u have their banners make it take the same speed because a fast respawn beacon might be op

t’s incredibly disappointing that the devs continue to neglect lifeline and pass her abilities onto the other legends. They need to make her a better legend overall not just ignore her as a character 😤😭 Apex can be a very fast pace game, and so I think if she isn’t going to get her shields back it would be nice to see her gain some changes. If her abilities were changed to follow closely to Zenyatas abilities from overwatch I think that would be awesome! Possibly in that she can attach her drone to a teammate or herself which heals them while moving at a slower pace, or place on the floor and heal faster but is stationary. With her ult, scratch the care package, and instead have a stronger version of her drone, where she becomes a heal radius for her teammates; meaning when she activates her ult she automatically heals her teammates (not instantly, and not like dummies big day ability we saw) which in turn will allow her team to group up and or reposition! I think this would be incredible for her, and would not make her incredibly OP. IMO the ult people have been suggesting in which it respawns your teammates would be incredibly positionable and once again hardly used. I think a more fast pace ult like I’ve suggest would be better.

Ideas for legend adjustment/reworks: Lifeline • apply ping movement to her health drone similar to new castles shield with slightly faster movement allowing for in combat healing • load out function added to drop pod: UI appears on HUD before pod drops with health, attatchement, or equipment emphasized, (options items still randomized but greater impact between and during fights based on team need) Mirage • Audio added for shots fired from his tactical decoy (this should make a lasting difference for mirages tricks. Often the new adjustments he's gotten trick players for a few weeks but the tells of a decoy allow for a quick learning curve to adjust. This should be a more lasting effect to fool or confuse enemies into selecting the wrong target) • rather than creating multiple copies of himself alone that mimic his movements, when mirage uses his ultimate himself and his team mates will make two copies with the same function but decoy models of those legends (should act to seriously confuse an enemy team or massively reduce moral as they precive a possible 3rd party attack when there are more opponents than anticipated and are pushed into a retreating position) Crypto • (they've just done a re-work on him to make him more mobile but there may still be more to imagine or work with to make him are fun/easy legend to play) Passive: while in drone, ping an area for crypto to run/climb to in a straight line (body will be vulnerable without team cover but allows him to push up while still surveying in drone, allowing him to stay more active when he is most powerful). Maggie • ultimate is less random, and targets enemies or enemy traps on up to 3 of its bounces, breaking Wattson pylons or activating Caustic traps Pathfinder • pathfinder is a recon class with very little recon and an emphasis on team movement. His kit should offer an advanced understanding of the lay of the land • passive: after recon beacon is scanned enemy team locations and level 3 or higher items appear on mini map for a brief amount of time within the next ring

The problem with Lifeline is if you have a teammate playing it, I give it about a 80% chance the heal drone does not get used and you see yourself ressing teammates while she just standing there. I also luuuv it when she lacks behind then pops a carepackage like wayyy back in the map where you just were so you have to run back to grab that carepackage item. Love it.

Her tactical should be able to move and should try to stay between your team, but prioritize whoever has the lowest health. Her Ult should come down faster to be used as cover, and also be a rez station, or come with a mobile rez beacon if you have a downed ally.

I think they're keeping lifeline the way it is because it's their entry level legend for new players: none of the abilities require aiming or skill, and are guaranteed to do something if you use them outside of fights. It's the Apex training wheels: "see if you press Q, something nice happens, if you press Z, you get presents".

The only real benefit for using Lifeline is her auto rez which does matter especially in Arenas. But did you know that even though she has a stat tracker for damage blocked with rez shield she literally cant accumulate points for it anymore? I do want the shield back but its too busted if its on the robot. Maybe if you HOLD the button lifeline rezs faster with shield like vanilla but if you press it the robot rezs slower without shield. Kinda like how new Crypto deploys his drone

Simple fact of the matter is that she's still suprisingly strong. Not S/A tier but still a solid pick. Free health heals from the drone while you're healing your shield. Being able to revive two teammates at the same time while also being free to fight is really powerful. The ult is still kinda trash given how many loot options there are now, but it's still free loot that can be clutch in tight late games and the package can provide free cover. Add in that she's still a small character that's harder to hit and that's a lot of plusses. Quite a few of these are situaional - you generally need some meaningful cover to give time for all her abilities to do their thing - but assuming you play at all sensibly, those situations come up often. She's not as 'fun' or easy to play aggressively with as she used to be but she's still a very strong support legend.

I feel like a great buff for lifline would be this: DOC shout act like a teammate he can go around the map finding heals guns and shields in combat, doc should be able to make a mini dome that has 750 health for 6 secs or until broken (Gibby could never) reviving teammates is less complicated doc uses his dome to make a revive machine but the radius is like 10-15mand takes 1.5 secs less that the regular time To balance it out doc has to charge overtime its either 1 battery or 2-4 shield cells They can make adjustments to balance it but that's my opinion lifeline should have time to shine

Just give her back the fast healing, i agree that her whole kit is kinda outdated but the biggest issue is that she doesn't get any actual utility for herself. The ult is unnecesary tbh it doesn't give anything good enough to justify giving a beacon for the whole lobby telling your location, her doc has been nerfed a lot from the old days so not only it get a massive cooldown but it also dies to zone and right now it's buggy af, so many times i didn't get healing from the lifeline in my team even though the drone was literally on my knees. She definitely needs a complete rework and a whole new ult but just giving her fast heals back would be a decent bandaid for the time being until they can think of some better skills for her (wich probably won't happen because all the new ideas just go to new characters)

Lifeline is a broken concept, a "healing" character can't really work in Apex now, it's like having a movement character have all movement abilities, or a recon have all type of scans. Each character has an ability that make them special in their class, but healing is too specific. Like wattson can heal shields, Octane heals himself, Gibby and Newcastle have special res but none of them are in a healing class, it's just a thing that make sense with who they are. Lifeline is a healer and there's nothing more to her, she's either too op, or useless
