I grew up on roller as most of us did, i havnt touched one since 2017. However i pulled out my old ps4 controller and absolutely popped off. All i did was set up these configs and have a little warm up slap so i wasnt fumbling over my fingers. No claw or anything like that, just standard grip. Its busted, hella busted. Im a movement guy, i like doing fancy tricks to dip duck dip dive and dodge my way to safety. It's just not possible anymore. I felt like i was literally grabbing hold of players and putting my muzzle on their foreheads while they were zip gliding and doing the fancy wallbounces and being a movement player myself i can feel it when im being the guy. This needs to change just purely on a balance argument. This aim assist is that strong that only 20% of diamond/masters are NOT on a roller... Top tier mnk players have switched which i think says everything you need to hear.

As a 2 time diamond and controller player all my life, I can definitely say keyboard and mouse has way more benefit's then controller, but I also feel like when you're used to both it's they're both easy to use. Using controller is still probably easier if you haven't used both because of aim assist though, it helps with being able to fine tune your aim so you can hit targets easier.

I disagree. Aim is significantly more important than movement in apex. And when that rotational aim assist tracks player movements at 40-60% lock on AND reacts to any change in movement (eg strafing) with a reaction time of 0ms. Average human has a reaction time of about 220ms. Literally most of the aiming on controller is done by a computer and that isn’t an opinion

controller aim aisist is really strong when it comes to beaming close range but it makes up for the lack of movement potentiall so as a pc player i think its pretty balanced especially when it comes to aim asist on pc using a controller since it is a little bit lower (since most pcs give you a preformance boost in fps against the 60 fps on a ps4 or xbox 1)

It's busted that a controller can now superglide within 3 ft of you to absolutely shred you in close range where it's hardest for mouse to track. Also steam data shows that 90% of the steam users are on weaker hardware than a ps4.

Ok, I am a big fan of Kandy but i want to give some constructive criticism on the new style. It at times seems a little excessive. Sometimes it seems like there is a little to much editing and memes being thrown in. I know people enjoyed the older edits and videos because it was just a vibe (The Lo-Fi music, the stories Kandy and Boom would share, the minimal editing). I know Kandy is experimenting and trying new things, and i 100% believe he will fine tune everything and find a balance within the edits. And of course I will 100% be watching every upcoming video not only because Kandy is my favorite apex creator but also because im excited to see where Kandy will push his content next! Love You Kandy!

@@kozie3345 did you watch the video? his aim was horrid. He openly talks about how hard it is to aim with controller now. Try aiming while also spamming crouch, oh wait you cant cause you need to use the same thumb to aim, reload, crouch, jump, and change weapons. Also you can have your sensitivity low and still 180 instantly by swiping your mouse. You cant do that with controller if your sensitivity is low it takes forever to turn around if someone is behind you.

A lot of people exxagerrate the strength of AA, like you said you do still have to aim. However hitting people for 140+ playing on a whole new input for a few days is far easier than mouse and keyboard, tracking is far far harder and you would need at least a couple weeks of aim training to even be somewhat competent if youre new to mnk.
