Would be interesting to try bumping up the FSB using something like clockgen or setfsb (with RAM that can run properly 1:1) to see if it can improve on something, cause there's a lot of temperature headroom there!

I agree, even tho set fsb never worked for me, all it did was drain my cr2032 till it was dead, maybe he should've tried it. It could've worked.

@@SummonerArthur There is for the desktop versions, not sure about the laptop socket.Would be harder to make because these have pins instead of pads tho .Also the northbridge has to support the higher FSB speed

This was a quality video! Personally I would run something like xbuntu on the device so that it could be a tad smoother. I have a 2013 ideapad 400p by lenovo and I recently upgraded it with an ssd and new battery and honestly that's all it really needs to be a decent schoolwork device. Overall fantastic job Owen

Not at all unfortunately. MSI Afterburner was reporting that the CPU was at close to 99% for most of the time throughout gameplay

@@Techwen Interesting. If you’re running stock windows, that’s 2gbs of your ram probably gone at idle. How many processes did you have running in the background as well? I have Minecraft 1.16.5 on stock launcher and I get better results that you were were. Mine has a c2d with 8gb of ram

I can remember, first laptop I ever had. I had a Dell Inspiron 1300 with the top of the line 1.73 GHz Pentium M and 2 whole gigs of ram. Probably a monster when it came out. But was still fine when I used it. Unfortunately it died about 5-7 years ago
