In this video you just assumed the desired PaO2, how would I know the value of desired PaO2?

You should always shoot for a normal PaO2, or at least adequate. We know that 80-100 is normal. For our chronic patients we know that as low as 50 might be their normal depending on the severity of their disease process. Just know your patients and what the team goals are for that particular patient in terms of oxygenation.
