The ironic part is his name is a rip off of a Japanese book title. The book is very much about Japanese culture and aesthetics and not about a more generic subject. He hasn’t changed his name after being asked to not appropriate Japanese culture. Guess he failed his own moral purity test of proclaiming, “if a black person/minority said I’m not allowed to do or use x I would respect them. Unlike Wendigoon and his offensive cultural appropriating username that he refuses to change”.

@RyanGoosing it makes sense for all the stupid people to think that, since all the media talks about is right vs. left and can't even get that right. Left and right denote economic policy. @@Critter68 Yeah, fair. I forget that I'm reacting to polar topics. I know I said in a Shoe0nHead reaction the reason I don't really delve into politics is twofold. Technically threefold with firearms. 1. If I start to just parrot rhetoric I could damage my image for focusing on firearms safety and education. There are a lot of people that are spooked away from firearms by hyper politicized personnel and coverage of the idiots by news and social media that misuse firearms. I'm just here for safety and education. 2. I already have to have so many macro political and social discussions on the daily in my personal life. I really want to try and do other things with my life for reacting and making videos. I'm not big enough like Brandon Herrera or TheFatElectrician to not have going political backfire on me and kill my channel. That's how you fracture a community. 3. If I start talking politics, everyone's gonna get pissed off. Right, Left, Center, Up, Down, down the street, everyone's about to be upset with me because of how I look at the world. So I just don't.

The way I hear it, especially from non whites is “what are you,” they can say that to me because I’m white, imagine a white guy saying that to a black person.

Just say you're sorry and the steps you're taking to improve.

Crazy idea but hear me out. What if we stopped making sweeping statements and encouraged people to become more precise in their speech? That could probably clear up like 90% of misunderstandings or at the very least make people think a little more critically than "Boog man bad"
@CertifiedSunset4 ай бұрын
One of the hardest things for people to admit is that they might be wrong, or that others have differing views. And accepting those differences while getting to know who they are underneath the ideological armor. Many people cannot do it anymore these days with politics becoming more and more radicalized, that people like praise of shadows feel comfortable attacking someone who by all accounts is a good person for no other reason than he became popular on a platform or genre he's passionate about while not politically falling in line with him. While I'll respect Wendigoon's wishes to not harass that individual. I refuse to forgive him for such an egregious hit piece with zero evidence and blanket racist statements. IPOS got what he deserved and my empathy for that individual is nonexistent. You reap what you sow.

I did not like nor believe the "If I can substitute one word and it becomes a problem, then it doesn't make sense" argument, because it ignores the intrinsically, and completely provable, issues with said argument. I'm going to type Black Power. This is a movement with racial discrimination in it, however, it is linked with the plight of a minority which has always and still is seen as lesser by the institutions of this country. I'm going to type Brown Power. Same. Now if I say White Power, this argument stands that it shouldn't matter. But I bet he would at least hesitate to say White Power in an all-Black neighborhood and try to argue that it simply means that White people should be proud of themselves. And the fact that he would maybe catch flack for it (at the very least) and be aware of the reasons why would prove that these instances, for good or ill, are not equivalent. Cue the famous Delroy Lindo clip of him daring the white host of the show he's on to say the N-Word after the host argued that it was hypocritical that he couldn't say it if African Americans could. I am not going after anyone after this, but this argument has always bothered me, not least which of it is that I used to make the same argument.
