You talk about getting hundreds of viewers from guildjen and while I AM getting views from there those numbers are just not true. 38:00 "oh my god what is this" It's a stream dude. This isn't some edited video in response to Darens. It is a vod from a month ago you are watching. 40:00 The graph. Yeah, I got a bump. That's how it works. It is an option allowed by twitch that helps with visibility. That is the entire point of it. Not stealing from sponsorships or advertisers, not extra ad revenue, it helps with the twitch directory. That's what it does. And if they decide to change the rules on that I will happily accommodate their decisions. In closing I wish you guys would've approached me about this and we could've talked it out, even if it was a live stream or something. You did not @ me on twitter when you blasted me last month. Darens did not tag me on his video, and you did not tag me on this one. Every time I hear about this it's through other people. It seems you constantly want to trash talk people but don't want them to know about it until you get a whole audience around the playground to watch. It's funny, that this is against Twitch Devoloper Agreement where it states under Embedded Experience, that you are not allowed to have the player on autoplay if it is obscured or at the bottom of the page. I donÄt know if GuildJen as the site owner or Mukkluk himself gets the blame but it's worth reporting.

Yo, did my own research on subject, here are results for last 3 months: I counted visits count and visits duration to guildjen and compared it to muk's stats on twitch. Take this with a pinch of salt cause *it's rough estimates*. In june guilden contributed 31.8 viewers, muk had 426 on average In july guildjen contributed 27.2 viewers, muk had 353 on average In august guildjen contributed 29.7 viewers, muk had 940 on average *August had twitch drops and it's stats are different than what muk usually have. ---------------------------------- Personal opinion: I think both of you exagerrate. Muk by saying 'it's just few views' and you by saying 'it's hundreds of views'. I think it has to be something in between. The stats in his video seem to improve by like 100. So even before/without guildjen muk would have around 300 on average and that would make him top in gw2 anyway.

I don't think you need a script, since I don't use scripts in my own vids, but you might wanna go for a take #2 and record some of your points again. I know it works wonders for me a lot of the time. That's how I feel as well. As a former fan (and longtime sub) of Muk, I wanted to see for myself how shady this practice looked- going to guildjen's homepage, I saw both Vallun/Muk streams at the VERY BOTTOM of the page. Not a floating player that follows you, not embedded at the top, essentially tucked away. This practice shouldn't surprise anyone though, since at least one of these guys used to promote a "view boosting" discord where members were encouraged to "watch" 10+ streams at a time to boost each other artificially. So who cares? This type of "cheating" is clearly overlooked by Twitch right? To quote a random guy on a math subreddit about Game Theory: "Each player must be constrained by some sort of rules in order to proceed with this discussion. An opponent completely unconstrained by rules is playing calvinball; they can simply sidestep your strategy and award themselves total victory."

Yep, it sounded very weird when he went on the rant about you and even more when he went full "oh they offered, i figured why not". Given the history the embedding has Mukluk wouldn't dare to compromise himself for 10 viewers. Anyone watching him even a little bit knows he takes his job seriously and is very practical about it. Damn, even if you only watch his comedy section on youtube, there's constant "i can't say this on stream" and so on (check out the garden hoe story for example if you need any) that he has going in his mind constantly, during live streams. He doesn't even let himself drop F bombs, do you really think he wouldn't double and triplecheck on this GuildJen offer? This is a real sad story, to have one of the biggest gw2 content creators scheming like this and even worse - lying like this with the poker face. I wouldn't even be surprised if the subreddit moderation has blocked the post and probably ban every other post on the topic because of his request.

Mukluk is trying to have the cake and eat it too. if the embedding doesnt matter he shouldnt have a problem removing it. But I do disagree with guildjen "paying" him by embedding him, her using his videos is good for him even without her embedding his stream. And its not like he is losing anything by letting her use his videos. Also afaik he used to recommend her way before getting the embedd. I think it was just a good faith move from her, was it because of the constant endorsement? maybe but I dont think it was as transactioal as you made it seem. Also the face hair comment is sticking like a sore thumb, because your video has pretty good points this 6th grade insult sticks out. but all and all pretty good job, mukluk seem to talk alot about how it is legal but the problem is that its unethical so most of the stuff he says are not really related to the problem EDIT: also didnt watch the streamer tier list but saying "everything I said was true" to mukluk saying "you said vile things" doesn't really work, you can be vile and mean without lying (but I didn't watch the tier list so I dont even know if the original claim is true)

only perspective, and i'm not trying to defend either side here, is that by using embeds it will inflate view numbers on twitch which pushes the channel higher in the category list. which could get new viewers to their channels over his. and that effects revenue for both sides. I made it 41 seconds into the video before pausing and hitting the comments.

In his explanation video (the twitch thing) Muk literally character assassinates Nike for 2 minutes at the start before even talking about the topic at hand as you can see here at 08:41 and then repeats that pattern of behavior every few minutes. If you feel the need to lace your explanation with that, I'd argue that's about as toxic as you ascribe Nike's behavior to be.
