The fact that Trish put ads in, she didn't even call Ethan personally, like smh. The absolute half-assed effort of this supposed apology just shows how much she cares and REALLY feels about the situation. It's so easy to see how deeply hury Ethan was by this entire situation... I cant say the same for Trish as she seems to constantly be hiding behind fake smiles and laughing as if all is normal. Well said! Also, let’s not forget that SHE said in episode 2 that she would be “cancelled” in 9 months. IMO- she sabotaged Frenemies in purpose because chaos is what she’s used to. & Trisha is of the mindset that good/bad attention is STILL ATTENTION. & she’ll get it by any means necessary. It’s sad & pathetic but, SHE is her own worst enemy. What friends has she kept in her life through thick and, thin? NONE! She has NO IDEA what a healthy relationship/friendship looks like. The whole thing with Moses will implode soon also. He won’t be able to deal with his family on one side and, Trisha on the other for too much longer. He’ll realize soon that she’s controlling, manipulative and, abusive mentally soon enough. 😏

Trisha just goes beyond "normal" BPD; she's so vindictive and vengeful. I have BPD so I get it- the horrible mood swings, the instability, this disproportionate anger.. all of it. But lashing out like this, trying to tear down someone down.. it's just cruel. Moses needs to think seriously about their relationship and whether it's worth the risk of alienating his entire family.

The thing about having a personality disorder is that you lack insight into your own personality and how it affects people. Thats the only thing making it a personality disorder. You should be careful disclosing you have this disorder because you are the only one that don't understand what it is. Fucked up right? You have no idea. You're basically disclosing how you're a dangerous toxic person that people should stay away from. This is not something you should do

@@BenetbenetLive That’s such nonsense. The best thing people can do is acknowledge they have a personality disorder because it is so stigmatized, and the symptoms you are describing can be mitigated through treatment. @@BenetbenetLive that's not true, actually DBT is a treatment for BPD! And the first thing you do in DBT is start to get awareness over what's a correct behavior and what isn't :) it's possible to gain awareness! Yes, usually people aren't aware that their actions are disproportionate but it's not true that they will NEVER be aware. Not being aware of one's actions isn't what makes it a personality disorder. What makes it a personality disorder is that it's part of their personality rather than a symptom that clashes with who they want to be. People with BPD can still be amazing people! You CAN learn how to control your symptoms. (this is coming from a PhD student who watches DBT sessions as part of their training :) )

You are spot on. She truly reeled him in and manipulated him. It’s wild that in their (I think) 1st fight, Ethan literally says “this is why you’re such a dangerous person to be friends with” -it’s like he knew in the beginning to keep a safe distance and slowly he was pulled in, he was so kind and patient with her and really gave her a redemption arc. What she did was sick. Especially because they are family. Someone else commented that she is so out of touch and feels threatened by people in-touch, and sabotages any relationship because she wants others to hurt worse than she does.

I have BPD too and I can tell you for a fact Trisha knew very well what she was doing when she tried to assassinate ethans character. just because impulse control can be difficult doesn’t mean you’re totally oblivious to how absolutely catastrophic the damage you’re causing is. this is what happens when you have someone with a mental disorder characterized by impulsivity and they have the money to just indulge as many unhealthy urges as they want and don’t put very much effort into recovery. sometimes the only way to learn when you’re so far gone is to lose everybody you care about.
