Part 170 *** Topic : “IJMA اجماع { ( With Consensus and frequency تواتر ) ******************************************main points of this lecture by sobia bhatti ******************************************when any religious content narrated lot of people collectively & consistently society to society in the period of 1400 years ) } that will be AJMA in religion. For example Quran o Sunat spread by consensus collectively society to society in 1400 years *** Q(1:00 )= Is it correct Quran, Sunat, IJMA & Qiyas r basic content for getting Islamic knowledge? Is it true if we will reject any narrative which we got by AJMA (collectively & consistently society to society ) that means we r going to reject Quran o Sunat ? Plz explain Wht is اجماع IJMA ? Ans = In any language by words we tell content, some words use for terminology ( معنی اصطلاحی) , same in Arabic language this word اجماع IJMA use as terminology , in Urdu language we also used it . By Allama Amidi this IJMA used for پختہ ارادہ “strong will “ , & IJMA also used for اتفاق “unity “ . He said , It means (اجماع ) collectively consensus and (اتفاق)unity can use in same situation. He told IJMA meaning . *** In Javed Ahmed Ghamidi program response to 23 questions Topics Sunat , Hadees & in other topics has discussed in very detail about AJMA O TWATAR ( اجماع و تواتر ) & When we got any content by AJMA o TAWATAR is established history, Collectively people narrated anything consistently society to society, We know Mughal empire history & we know Quaid i Azam was the founder of Pakistan all this is established history because by number of people this historical truth spread consistently society to society. *** Same Quran spread IJMA o TAWATER , I m not telling how AJMA word use in terminology , I m just telling simple meaning of AJMA ( consensus collectively consistently narrated anything society to society ) . *** Q(10:15) In اصول فقہ or ilm ul kalam , or in لغت language how scholars used this word AJMA for ( اصطلاح ) terminology ? Ans = First we should know wht is the meaning of terminology, in Quran Nabi نبی , Salat صلواۂ used as a terminology. Scholars used IJMA as a terminology in different subjects & we will discuss it . *** We know Quran & Sunat is the basic source to get Islam & we will research to accept this point of view that “if anyone is saying Islamic content which we got by IJMA is aslo very important “ than we will look arguments & reasoning on this point of view . *** If that content which was not against in Quran o Sunat than we can accept easily that Islamic content which we got by AJMA ( by consensus ,collectively consistently spread) . *** Q ( 15:40) : Is it true Sunat word also used for (اصطلاحی )terminology by the reference of Sunat Ibrahimi ? Yes , when we use any word in terminological sense than we will look it’s backgrounds. *** Q( 16:34) = How scholars used IJMA word in terminology? Ans = We all agreed that Quran & Sunat ( Sunat Ibrahimi which Quran discussed) r the basic source of Islam religion. Religion is talking to a person but it doesn’t means religion is not for humanity betterment. Religion Islam came for humanity, even God passed the prayers order in Mosques for purify society . We have some examples which r telling how collectively consensus (اجماع )Muslims solve praying issues. Built mosque 🕌 & appointing teacher in mosque, Azan timings all decided by collectively consensus (اجماع). By collectively consensus we decide when the Holy month Ramzan or 10 Zil Haj pilgrimage day or Eid Namaz will start . *** Quran guided us in surah Shura verse where God said by “ امرو ھم شورئ بینا ھم voting or taking advise Muslims should take decision “ for solving society issues take votes or opinions or advise for solving issues is God’s guidance. For example Muslims were thinking will God choose our leader ? Than by voting Muslim choose his leader because by Amra hum Shura Baina hum order in surah Shurah God guided us for solving issues by voting or taking opinions or taking advise solve issues, All this happened with collectively consensus .
