The life and death of Jesus (pbuh) is subject to the greatest amount of conjecture, misrepresentations and false attributions among all the prophets mentioned in the Quran. In order to clarify and purify his personality from all the falsehoods attributed to him, this lecture presents the prophecies of Jesus (pbuh) in his own words and clarification from God All-Mighty Himself to raise his personality for the benefit of those seeking the truth about Jesus the Son of Mary (pbuh). This lecture was presented by Mohammad Shaikh during his visit to North America in 2013 to a mixed audience comprised of local Christians, Ahmedi / Qadiani Muslims, and traditionalist Muslims all of whom have their own respective concepts in relation to life and death of Jesus (pbuh), and which are all in contradictions to what is written in the Quran. An enlightening lecture and equally enlightening question and answer session that followed after the lecture.

The crystal clear ayaat makes obvious the peaceful life and peaceful death of Jesus pbuh exactly as foretold by Allah and prophesied by Jesus himself who was given power over death. After he gave last sermon and prophesied of his going and coming of Ahmed pbuh People rejected and they forged planing to take advantage of his death in peace by Allah. When Jesus died in peace, their planing got exposed and they got doubtful because they know they couldn't kill as Jesus was the in person manifestation of the power of life given by Allah over death. Worth repeat watching again. The one & only life and death cycle of Jesus pbuh in the Quran has changed the direction of my belief since first comprehension of it. Glory to my Lord the high.

The ayats recited in this lecture explained that Allah gave Essa/Jesus PBUH the ability to bring the dead back to life. Someone with this power cannot be killed or crucified.At the time of death, Allah fulfills the Soul/self/pysche, so Allah took away the power from Jesus and gave them death and then fulfilled their soul/self/pysche and raised their ranks. This sermon explains and clarifies in detail the status of Jesus/Essa pbuh in Al-Kitab and also compares what is mentioned about him in Bible. The misconceptions of biblical Jesus prevailing in the world are clarified through the ayats of Al-Kitab. People were planning and claiming that they killed Jesus/Essa pbuh which Allah denies. One has to ponder that how anyone can kill and/or take life of someone who has power over death as Jesus/Essa pbuh was given power to give life to dead by the permission of Allah. So, that is why Allah specifically mentions that He will cause Jesus/Essa to die and/or will complete his life. It’s a stepwise process, first is Allah will complete his life, second is Allah will raise him in honour and then clear him from people who are rejecting with what is mentioned about the personality of Jesus/Essa pbuh in the Quran. Hence, both physical and psychological killing of Jesus/Essa pbuh is denied by Allah in the ayats. Further, Allah made him the knowledge of the hour by explaining his complete life cycle as an ayat/sign for all mankind. The birth of Maryam Pbuh and Essa Pbuh is an example for us that ALLAH is Almighty and anything can happen when HE wills. ALLAH completed the soul/ pscyhe of Essa Pbuh, so he died and was raised in honour, which means that he will not come back to the world.

The explanation given in the lesson is that Allah gave Jesus (peace be upon him) the power to revive the dead. Allah completes the soul at the time of death, so He took the soul of Jesus (peace be upon him) with that power and then returned it, causing his death to occur peacefully. According to the theory of Christians, Jesus (peace be upon him) was neither crucified nor raised up, but Allah raised him to a high status.

Essa/Jesus PBUH is held in high status in both, Islam & Christianity, in different manner. Essa/Jesus PBUH is mentioned as the Word of God in the Quran while Christians also believe that but it's not mentioned in the Bible. Others status being in the Qur'an are Mercy to mankind, Messenger, Prophet & Servant of God. In this clip, aspects about Essa/Jesus PBUH discussed are his birth, what was the message given to him & prophesies about himself. Meriam/Mary PBUH was given the good news about a miraculous birth(without human intervention) of a son, held in honour called Essa-ibne-Marium/Jesus Christ Son of Mary PBUH. While in the Bible there's a contradictory genealogy about him. Also mentioned as Son of God 13 times & Son of Man 83 times in the Bible. Essa/Jesus PBUH is mentioned being taught by God in The Qur'an, Al-Kitab/The Book, Al-Hikam/The Wisdom, At-Taurah/The Law & Al-Injeal/The Good News. While in the Bible, he was only given Gospel/Good. Also mentioned in the Qur'an that he will speak from the cradle about what he was taught by God, him being Blessed & being kind to his mother. While in the Bible, Jesus never referred to his mother as mother but as a woman. Essa/Jesus PBUH in the Qur'an was told by God that He will cause him to die (complete his life), raise him unto himself (raise in rank) & clear him from those who reject. This is a sequence & all this is done in Peace. In other words, Allah denies their claims about killing Essa/Jesus PBUH which they couldn't have done anyway as Essa had power over death given by God Al-Mighty. People are in suspicion about it as it appeared to them as if they killed him. Essa/Jesus PBUH was raised after his life was completed as it is a sequence. While The Bible is portraying a concept that he was raised before completing his life. I have clarified these concepts about Essa/Jesus PBUH from the ayats, have corrected & am a firm believer of it as mentioned in The Qur'an.

I hv come to know from lecture the Attribute names of Jesus in the Holy Quran 3:45. Word of God, 4:171 Spirit of God, 19:21 Verse of God, 19:21 Mercy from God, 3:49 Messenger of God, 19:30 Prophet of God, 19:30 Servant of God Christian Beliefs/Jesus Contradiction of the Bible in the genealogy of Christ. Matthew mentions only 26 forefathers of the Son of God, while Luke mentions 41 of Jesus Christ. The son of Mary name appears 23 times in the Qur'an. In John 2:4, Jesus Christ called his mother a woman, while in Qur'an 19:32, the one who treated his mother with kindness and gentleness, in Mark 50:14, Jesus Christ disciples leaved him and run away. In Qur'an 3:52 the disciples supported Jesus. Bible Mark 29:16 Jesus Christ was taken up to heaven and sat besides the right hand of God. In Quran 3:55 God says I will die you and raise you in degrees. In 4:157, Allah Almighty died Essa (peace be upon him), but people said, We killed him, although Allah said that surely they did not kill him.

Eisa/Jesus (pbuh)-one of the mightiest messenger /prophet of Islam. He was the son of Maryam/Mary. No one is coming back when Allah takes the soul and completes death. It’s not in the Book of Allah, that after death there is returning. These stories are written by humans in books. Prophet Essa ( pbuh) said I am going away and Ahmed will come with the messenger, this will continuously keep going till the last day.

When Allah completed the soul /self /psyche of Essa /Jesus then people said that we have KILLED him. Allah has made this similar for them. Similarity is that they assumed they killed Essa / Jesus. (After completing the soul/self/psyche of Essa / Jesus) Allah RAFA / RAISED HIM (IN DEGREE) to Himself. O’ Essa / Jesus I will mutawaffika / complete you (your soul / self / psyche) and rafa / raise you (in degrees) to Myself. (An-Nisa 4:158) This is a confirmation of what Allah has said earlier to Essa / Jesus. PBUH. MARK 16:19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. JOHN 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the son of man.
