Responsive Facebook Cover Image size in 2022 [Experimented and tested in all devices]

In this video you will learn how to make sure your Facebook Coverphoto and Profile image photo display across all devices correctly in the year 2022.
Facebook automatically crops your images. So as a work around i have experiemented with my own facebook Page and have found the right sizes and dimesions you can use for the year 2022.
FB Page : / designclans | You can check how it displays in your PC and your Phone. If that is what you are looking for as well then this podcast is for you. Dont just go with what facebook and other website says. Even Facebook agree they crop images to make it fit in different devices.
This can make your cover image suffer if you have content on it. And when you are growing your business on the internet this is not something you should miss out on.

1920 * 731 its perfect.... but what about the resolution? 300ppi or 150ppi or 72ppi?

I use Canva for this. However in photoshop you can use anywhere between 150-300 ppi. Higher the ppi bigger the size of the image. So be aware of the size as well. Go with what facebook recommends on size.

Hello and thank you for this great info. When you say a high res file, do you mean a 300 dpi jpg or something else?

You are Welcome Kathi! Image of High resolution. I would personally use anything between 250 to 300 dpi + width of 1920 or above. And then scale it down to fit in the design creative in Canva or Photoshop. Hope this helps! :).

I dont upload at 72 dpi.Facebook will anyway compress and crop the image to whatever they please :). So I always upload what I built, as it is. So Upload the creative at high resolution. As long as the design creative is clear after upload in you PC and Phone there is nothing to worry.

Indeed. One of the most annoying things they do is remove perfectly fine posts and even put users in "Facebook Jail" because, according to their messed up AI, the posts violated their Community Standards. It's happened to several FB friends of mine. It hasn't happened to me as yet but I'm pretty sure it will at some point, especially now that I'm planning to promote a RedBubble store of mine.

Facebook has made changes to their interface again. Now the image is in the center. Got to do something similar as inthe video. Little bit of experiment and work around. Will post a new video soon on this

Hi Rohit. Personally Top and Bottom I dont give so much importance as the size usually fits if you keep most of the content in the center of the creative. However if you must know I suggest 40px or more can do. Hope this helps!

Important thing I would like you to observe is the Process behind doing this. If you get the process then whenever Facebook changes interface you can also create a New FB page with the Work Around. I am still having a lot of trouble with the sizing. I am using 1920x731 but there is still a lot of white space on the top, bottom, and right side, and since it only lets me move it up and down I cant get it to cover the whole area. What am I doing wrong?

Do you know the correct dimensions for an event page header image? Really struggling here! All images I am trying are just showing super blurry

I personally use 1920X731 pixels for FB Event Cover. I also recommend 1) Using a high resolution image 2) Keeping the most important piece of your Cover image content in the center to make sure the Cover Images information does not get cropped.
