Great video thanks Eddie. My family and I visit the Lakes twice a year to bag the Wainwrights (110 done so far). I enjoy watching your content to recce our routes plus get me started before work in the madness of London!

Hi, thanks for the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. This was a really good walk, a bit boggy in places but well worth it! You have done a lot of the Wainwrights, good motivation to keep going! The Lakes are quite a difference from the hustle & bustle of London. Thanks again for watching & for the comments. I need to get back into producing the videos again and it is comments like yours which give me the motivation to keep doing them. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

What a lovely spot angle tarn is. Thanks once again for going to the trouble of labelling the fells - great for those who don't know the area too well! Great shots of the waterfalls as well. Hayeswater Gill is really quite impressive after heavy rainfall. Thanks for sharing, it was really enjoyable. All the best.

Hi Peter, you are right about Angle Tarn, it was so peaceful we didn't want to leave. It was good to see the waterfalls with a bit of water flowing over them after such a dry year! We really enjoyed this walk, great weather, great views and Red Deer as a bonus! Thanks again for watching and for the kind comments, it is appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Another great video Eddie. Stunning views over Martindale and Brock Crags. Angle Tarn is just so pretty, really beautiful round there. The added bonus of those gorgeous red deer just about capped off a great day I bet. Cheers and thanks for posting David

Thanks David. This was another great walk with superb views. We sat for quite a while at Angle Tarn, it was so peaceful, a great place to have a break. It was great seeing the Red Deer. What the camera didn't capture was the noise of the Deer, we could here the Stags bellowing all day. The sound coming from the valleys made it so atmospheric. Thanks again for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Another fantastic video, Eddie, with top class commentary. Seeing the deer was a nice bonus too but the highlight for me was Angle Tarn, it was just stunning. You and Carol make it all seem so easy, but I know from the Mournes that going through peat bogs is hard going - you gave the peat area a name I had never heard before too! Looking forward to your next day in the sun in the lakes, regards, Ashley
@eddiecaisley57463 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ashley. I agree with you, Angle Tarn was stunning, we stayed for quite a while and didn't want to leave. Going over to The Nab was quite boggy in places ( The Peat Hags!) but we have had worse in The Cheviots to be honest. What the camera didn't pick up, was the sound of the Red Deer, we could hear them all day and it made it quite atmospheric hearing the sound coming from the Valleys. We had a great day in great weather. ( Someone else commented that it is known as "Caisley Weather" ha! Thanks for watching & for the kind comments, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

@@eddiecaisley5746 The Peat Hags - I will have to remember that. The stags were bugelling!! We saw Elk do this in US and its noisy but very impressive - you forget things like that. thx

Terrific views again Eddie. I managed to get 2 walks in on a family trip this week. Helm Crag and Gibson Knott one day and Great Carrs the next. Very unsettled weather and very poor visibility at the summits on both walks. Great video as always! Cheers, Matt

Hi Matt, pleased you got a couple of walks in this week, pity about the weather and the visibility, the weather has been unsettled and looks similar for next week. This was another great walk, we had a great day and a bonus seeing the Red Deer. Thanks again for watching and commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Fantastic clear images Eddie and love that route. Angle Tarn looked sublime😊You chose a good day to get through the peat hags on The Nab too. It was a great day to be out, and seems a few of us were out looking at the comments. I was climbing up to Lingmell via Piers Gill, and had it all to myself. ‘Absolutely amazing. Cheers Stuart

Thanks Stuart, we had a great day. We stayed a while at Angle Tarn, it was so peaceful. The weather was fantastic and you are right about the Peat Hags, they were ok, but wouldn't like to try it on a wet day! Your walk up to Lingmell via Piers Gill sounds really good, another one for the future! Thanks again for watching & for the kind comments, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

I was wondering when your next video was coming Eddie. Great stuff. I was camped in Mellbreak last week and also did Low Fell and Fellbarrow next day. Today I did Burbank and the ridge round including Hencomb. Great weather. Nippy on top and first sign of frost. Keep em coming. The Nab is a beggar to get to!
@eddiecaisley57463 жыл бұрын
Hi, Thanks. This was a great walk and a bonus with seeing the Red Deer. You are right about The Nab, it was a bit boggy in places heading over to the summit. You picked a great fell to camp on Mellbreak, I love the views from the side of Mellbreak looking over Crummock Water. I bet it was nippy on the top. Thanks again for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Weird, as I almost did the exact same walk the same day, only last minute deciding to do The Coledale Horseshoe instead. I wondered why I got such good weather and now I know why lol, you got the great views as well and great to see the red deer, especially at this time of the year, cheers Alan

Just watched your Coledale Horseshoe video, it looked like you had a great day with superb views ( and good weather, ha!) We really enjoyed this walk and it was great to see the Red Deer. What the camera didn't capture was the noise of the Deer in the valleys. We could hear them all day. We stayed for a while at Angle Tarn, it was so peaceful there. A bit boggy in places going over The Nab, but still a great walk. Thanks for watching & commenting Alan, it is appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.

Another superb video Eddie, great shots of the red deer. We were at Beda Fell and Angle Tarn the day before you, but what a difference in the weather, we still had good views and saw lots of deer and could hear them all day which was lovely. We went the day before you to avoid the Friday traffic. Was it still very busy or did you have a good journey? Cheers Mary
@eddiecaisley57463 жыл бұрын
Hi Mary. We had a great day in superb weather. We could hear the Deer all day aswell during our walk. It makes it very atmospheric with the sound of the Deer coming from the valleys. We hardly saw anyone all day and the traffic both ways was ok. We are like yourself and usually avoid a Friday, but the forcast was good so we took a chance. Pleased we did. We stayed for a while at Angle Tarn, it was so peaceful. Thanks again for watching & commenting, it is always appreciated. Take care & Best wishes to you both. Cheers. Eddie.

Brilliant video Eddie. I was out on the same day in the same general area ( place fell, angletarn pikes and brock crags ). The weather was fantastic wasn’t it? I heard the deer throughout most of my walk but didn’t see them till I got to brock crags. The Angle Tarn area was a lot busier when I was there. Looks like you guys had it to yourselves:-)
@eddiecaisley57463 жыл бұрын
Hi Alan, you are right the weather was fantastic. Pity we hadn't bumped into each other ( not literally, ha!) We hardly saw anyone all day, in fact we saw more Deer than people! We nearly went up to Angletarn Pikes, but decided to stay a bit longer at Angle Tarn instead as we have both already done the Pikes. We had a great day, a bit boggy heading over to The Nab, but still enjoyed it. Thanks again for watching & for the kind comments, it is always appreciated. Take care. Cheers. Eddie.
