good question, not sure, but maybe due to his(Ky) history, theyre brothers through Tilikum, but Tuar is loved or favored by a lot of trainers at SWT.

Kyara got sick, and her mom is not Kasatka, thats her Grandma, now theyre together in heaven, Kyaras parents are very much alive in Takara(mom) and Kyuquot(dad)

I couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl, couldn't see the underside which can mostly confirm it. The calf's dorsal fin and rostram could potentially help with figuring out who's the father but not necessarily. I wish @SeaWorld would just tell us what the gender is and who the father is, they got the placenta. They should have had the results in 10 days or less. As for names - I emailed them on facebook for potential names that I wanted and suggested the ones below.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Gender neutral:Takoda: means everybody's friend - and it's similar to Dakota but it could be for Takara.Kyung: means "respected" or "celebrated" - and it could be used if Kyuquot is the father. Boy name: Tuma: - means "everlast" or "immortal" - and it could be used if Tuar is the father. I really want it to be named Takoda though for Takara. She's had 5 babies, Katina had calves that sounded like her name, it's time for Takara to have one that's similar to hers...

i believe its Ulises in SeaWorld San Diego SWC, hes close to 10 thousand pounds. the one at San Antonio is Kyuquot, thats Tilikums first born, hes about 9,400 pounds.
