Raising Minimum Wage is necessary to balance The Economy . This is hard on some small businesses but large corporations knew it was coming and they are already charging for it , but they haven't actually raised wages yet , they are waiting to see what the rest of the industry will do . To put this in prospective , A person working a full-time , non-college degree job should be paying no more than 30% of there take-home income for housing , that is the threshold of Poverty Level . Historically Inflation causes a rise in Cost of Living and then wages rise to balance The Economy , but this time we are experiencing something that has never happened before , Inflation moved up on a massive scale , and Cost of Living is out of control 36-50% higher depending on where you live .
