In today's theme park vlog, we take of tour around Universal Studios Orlando's restaurants and eating establishments. Universal Studios Florida has many dining options and we basically take a lap around the park to take a look at each one and offer our insights. We start off with a visit or Universal Studios Mel's Dine in, then move on to the Kid Zone Pizza, then move on to visit Springfield and the Simpson's to see Bumble Bee Man's Tacos, Krusty Burger and Cletus Chicken Shack and the Duff Brewery in Universal Studios. Continuing our walk around Universal Studios we see a passholder favorite, the Jacket Potato Kiosk. Then we duck inside of Diagon Alley to talk about eating at The Leaky Cauldron. We also mention Sugar Plums. We stop of at Universal Studios Richter Burgers and the Lombard's Landing in Universal Studios. Our favorite theme park pizza is at Louis Restaurant in Universal Studios Orlando and finally we have our lunch at Universal Studios Finnegan's restaurant. We also take a peak inside one of the best themed theme park quick service restaurants, which is the Monster Cafe at Universal Studios Orlando. We just wanted to thank you for your videos! They are so fun and really helpful! We were just there during the first week of April! We followed the meal choices that you mentioned in this video to the tee! Went to Louie's daily for the BEST theme park pizza I have ever had. I could not get enough of that pizza! We also hit Finnegan's to try the soda bread and I did get the chicken sandwich. Even hit Lombard's for an amazing plate of 'lemon garlic shrimp penne.' All of your advice really helped out to make our experience a truly amazing one! We cannot wait to one day go back and do it all over again!

Probably one of your best videos to date. When we were there in May, we didn't realize if you bring back the refillable cup the next day, it is half price to recharge the chip. Also it was our last day there before we knew that icees are included in free refills. I'm pretty sure the girls had about 10 icees the last day. Great info about switching out frog cards. We have a couple of Gilderoy Lockhart we need to swap out next yr.

Love the video as always. So much great information. My sister and I had an Pina Colada cupcake at the San Francisco Candy shop. We split it between us and WOW it was all we could do to finish it. Ok, now I’m hungry. lol. We apparently didn’t spend enough time eating, because there are so many places we never got to try. Loved Mel’s, though, and highly recommend their chocolate and vanilla twist shake. The jacket potato was our favorite find from a tip in one of your earlier vlogs, so thanks for that. Leaky Cauldron is great for breakfast! We did it twice. I can’t believe we never got around to visiting Florian Fortesques for ice cream. One thing I would definitely tell folks is don’t get there for early admission looking for a smackeral of something for breakfast. Very limited choices before about 9 or 10. Thanks for all the new tips for my next to do list! (& sorry for the long winded comment)

Such a fun video! You guys are so much fun to watch 😊 All the restaurant/food info is super helpful! We had the dining plan last November and liked it. We like that you're not committed to purchasing the meal plan for each day that you're in the park. You can try it out for one day and then add more days if it works for your family. We used the meal plan in the parks and at our resort.

Fantastic video guy's. I agree with what you said about Studio's, it is such an inviting place. Always love the honest food reviews. Well we usually eat at Simpsons, Lombards and The Monster Cafe. Started using the Monster Cafe with HHN, we really enjoy the atmosphere in there. As for the Scare Actors Dinner, this will be our third year doing it. The food is great and the photos with the characters are great, you will have a blast. Can't wait to do it again this year. You have both done great job with both your channels. Really enjoying the videos.

Never been on the tour, but spoke to them when making the video...if it's the group tour, the group eats somewhere in the park, if it's a private tour, then lunch at the La Bamba Cafe. All groups eat breakfast at the La Bamba Cafe.

My personal favorite is the Universal Monsters Cafe. The classic universal monsters were some of my favorite movies growing up, and I feel more and more people are missing out on them. If I ever go back to Universal, I’m making sure I stop and eat there.

Hey all. We are a family of 5 and we did the dining plan in 2016. NOT WORTh IT in my humble opinion. It is too limited. Many restaurants - even some inside the park - do not honor it, including many at Universal resorts (we had stayed at Cabana Bay). We arr heading back this fall and will be paying for meals out of pocket. It’s cheaper and more flexible. Hope that helps.

The place with the most options and variety is going to be in the Simpson's area because there are like 5 different service areas....the burger, the chicken place, the pizza place, a sea food place and like a sandwich place. The food isn't the best but each kid could get something they wanted. Personally, I like Finnegan's but you eat at an Irish place all the time, haha, the most "fun" place to eat is the Monster Cafe, it has a real neat look about it.

For all wondering about the dining plans of today, currently as of February 2019 the Quick Service one works at over 100 of the restaurants throughout the parks and city walk. This includes both the Harry Potter restaurants! My family has had no trouble finding entrees and snacks that work with it and save us money. The dining plan I think has changed a lot since years past. :) Important to note: The Dining plans don’t work on any of the Universal Hotel restaurants. They’re for the parks and City Walk. Also, the Full Service dining plan is the one that isn’t so well worth it, unless you know for sure you’re going to have a pricey dish and dessert in a full service restaurant.

Just curious: how do they verify that you bought your tickets with your Amex card? Does it say it on your ticket or pass?

No, they will ask to see the amex card you used for the purchase. that is the easiest way they verify...I believe there is another way if you don't have that card on you, but i always have mine with me so not exactly sure of the other method

Hello Rick, thanks for the informative videos, great job!!! But I have to say that your rating on Louie's pizza is completely off. I just bought a pie today for my family. We were looking forward to it based on your review but it was very disappointing. I rate it just above frozen pizza. Not very good for $35 a pie.

Sorry you didn't had that experience. There was only one time I can recall when we were not happy with it and that time it tasted like it was old.
