Exploring Diagon Alley | Crazy Cool Stuff | Check Out The Magic

The first thing we need to know about Diagon alley is where is it located which is in the London area of Universal Studios. Universal Studios has built this outstanding facade of London and on the south side is King’s cross station and on the north side is the Sirius Black residence. The house elf Creature will peak out the window. The restaurant inside of Diagon Alley is the Leaky Cauldron but out here in London there is the home of the Jacket Potato. If you dial MAGIC on this telephone you’ll get a message from the Ministry of Magic. At this shopping kiosk you can get some Harry Potter stuff. Diagon Alley and London were built over the old Jaws attractions here at Universal Studios. And there are several references to Jaws here in Diagon Alley. There is also an interaction area here with the Night Bus outside of Diagon Alley. Once we get inside of Diagon Alley there will be one restaurant, the Leaky Cauldron, one ride which is Escape From Gringotts, 2 shows and a bunch of Harry Potter shops. Diagon Alley has a secret entrance that muggle don’t know about. I don’t know how many times we’ve been here to Universal Studios and first time visitors not finding the entrance into Diagon Alley. The first time I was here in Diagon Alley I couldn't find the entrance either. Inside of Diagon Alley is Knockturn Alley, where the dark wizards hand out. Inside of Knockturn Alley there is one store a few different magical wands spots for your Harry Potter interactive wand. I did a whole other vlog on all the magical wand spots, include some secret Harry Potter wand spots in Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley to enjoy our Harry Potter vacation. The place to eat here in Universal Studios’ Diagon Alley is the Leaky Cauldron which serves breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. To get breakfast in the Leaky Cauldron at Universal Studios Orlando is on our to do list. The price in the Leaky Cauldron at Universal Studios Orlando are a bit steep. Okay let’s go check out some of the create theming areas of Diagon Alley in Universal Orlando. It is some the best in any Orlando theme park. In Diagon Alley there is an overhead railway for the Hogwarts Express, and there is even a traffic light for Hogwarts Express. Here is one of the prime photo ops in Diagon Alley and all of Universal Studios Orlando, Hagrid's motorcycle. This is one of the best photo spots in all of Universal Studios Diagon Alley. And here we have the biggest theming element of Universal Studios Diagon Alley and and theme park, the Gringotts dragon. The Gringotts Dragon will shot our fire about every 15 to 20 minutes. It’s not just visual theme in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios but there is also a lot of sound theming. Thoughout Universal’s Diagon Alley there are speakers playing Harry Potter music and more. Okay let’s check out some highlights from the Tales of Beedle the Bard and the Tale of the Three Brothers show at Universal Studios. They rotate the shows about every 30 minutes with the Tale of the Three Brothers with the Celestina Warbeck show. As we are waiting for Nikki to get here to Universal Studios’ Diagon Alley to do some shopping with me and to ride Escape from Gingotts, let’s take the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade/Hogwars in Islands of Adventure. The only thing left of the Dragon Challenge at Universal’s Islands of Adventure is one little loop. Now let’s apparat back to Diagon Alley over on the Universal Studios side of the theme park. Okay Nikki take us into some of the Harry Potter shops they have here in Diagon Alley of Universal Studios Orlando. Madam Malkum’s will have everything you need to dress as if you were a student in Harry Potter’s Hogwarts. Herminie’s dress is for sale here. They even have Harry Potter jewelry. Let’s take a look at Nikki’s Gryffindor shirt. Here is the Gryffindo hat that looks like my Hufflepuff hat. Here is the Golden Snitch quidditch game for sale. The golden snitch will look good on top of our Harry Potter Christmas tree. There is only ride inside the Diagon Alley area of Universal Studios and it’s the Escape from Gringotts roller coaster. Here are the test seat for the Escape From Gringotts ride. Escape from Gingotts is one of my favorites rides at Universal Studios theme park in Orlando. At first I was expecting it to be more like the indoor roller coaster, Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster. Over time I have really grown to love the Escape From Gringotts ride at Universal Studios. And now I would consider it one of the best rides at Universal Studios Florida. Nikki would say that of the three Harry Potter rides at Universal Studios Orlando, Escape From Gingotts is her favorite.

This was a great video! I didn't realize that Diagon Alley was so big. It's like a park within a park! Lol! I'm not much of a Harry Potter fan (although I did see the first two movies - never got around to seeing the rest of them), but I look forward to checking this area out when I visit Universal Studios. It definitely seems to be a must-see. Thanks so much for taking us on the tour! And thanks, Nikki, for showing off the shops!

The kids first trip to Universal was this year in June. Their reactions to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was awesome. We need to go back and finish up all the little things. We still talk about "muggle money".

Great video,😉 but I almost fell off my chair when I saw the pricing-sign that said 11.69 for a Hot Dog and Crisp. I live in Denmark, A Country with one of the worlds highest taxes, but that there is just a perversely insane price.😂 Do people save up the several years before they visit this park?😲

Theme park pricing for food, it's expensive but you do allow you to bring in your own food. Yes, a lot of people save up for years before visiting Disney and Universal...Disney is MORE expensive. Luckily, I live in Florida so I get a discount on my passes. Last time I renewed, they had a deal...18 months for like $420.

Thanks, and so excited you have a visit to the parks so soon. I use the canon GX7 Mark II. It's pretty compact with great stabilization. I shoot at 60 FPS.

October can be a little tricky because of Fall break that a lot of Northern schools get but it is better than Spring break and Summer time. I actually thin the first couple of weeks in November are better. And we typically get to the park as soon as it opens so the crowds and wait times are not as bad.

Might be some time between early August and late September. A crowds calendar for all the big theme parks in Florida shows that crowds plunge after August because the kids have to go to school. Still, a LOOOOOOT of parents take their kids out of class just to go on vacation. And then get mad at the teachers when the kids fall behind in class...
