2 little things: Authors tend to show off vocabulary for the first 1 to 30 pages. So you might find you understand 60% of the beginning but close to 95% once the author relaxes. With electronic books, I think most people can tolerate a much lower percentage of understanding because it takes less than 5 seconds to look up a word or phrase, at least on kindle.

Thank you for sharing your 2 little things which are really useful. Personally, I don't like to stop the flow of reading even for 5 seconds to look up for a word. When I don't understand a word but I still understand the gist of the story, I keep on reading. But that's from my personal experience and I know other people who need to understand every word.

J'ai achete un de livres de Theresa Marrama, Une Disparition Mysterieuse, et c'etait un plaisir a lire. J'ai aime le glossaire au dos de livre pour les quelques mots que je ne connaissais pas.

Je m'appelle Ikponmwosa, j'aime bien vos vidéos. J'ai lu beaucoup de petit livre français. Souvent je emprunte des livres de ma bibliothèque à Alliance Française. La moitié du livre sont trop difficile à comprendre et je d'accord avec vous qu'il faut commencer avec le petit livre simple. Je vous remercie pour vos efforts, vos vidéos, vos histoires, vos temps.

@@aliceayel Merci pour votre conseil, je trouve ça très utile. Oui, j'ai commencer à lire des livres courts et simples. Dans la biblothèque, il y a des livres pour le niveaux différents. Maintenant, je choisis des livres aux niveaux A2 et B1

Oui, je lis des petit livres. J'adore les adventures de Marie et Médor. J'aime bien de plusieur livres de Theresa Marrama. J'ai un vieux livre s'intitule "l'anniversaire de la tortue", texte français de Sophie Lambert. C'est pour le "Baby Stage", mais l'histoire est très mignon.

Bonjour! Je suis très très heureuse parce que j'ai lu un livre en français! Au lycee j'apprendrais le fraçais mais je ne lis jamais plus d'un ou deux pages ! J'avais tellement peur de touts les mots que je ne comprends pas! Et je pensais que c'est impossible pour moi. Maintenant je suis en train de lire un autre livre. Ce livre s'appelle: comment devenir parfait en trois jours. C'est très drôle !

Je lis Harry Potter. Pour acquérir une langue étrangère, je lis toujours Harry Potter. J'ai déjà lu en anglais, italien et espagnol.
