In the folklore of my home country(Philippines) we had our own version of vampires like the Mandurugo and the Aswangs(Aswangs can be both bloodsuckers and flesh-eating supernatural creatures).

Indeed, it is interesting. There is also the adze, a firefly at day, a humanoid vampire at night. Those two vampires are from africa and african mythology is so inspiring!

Once again I loved learning about this creature I haven't heard of before! In the Americas the big cats that drop down on their prey always terrified me, so a folklore creature doing that does sound scary! I like your ambience with the nature sounds, drums and snarling creature noises. The thumbnail and background picture in the video are very cool and atmospheric too! I recently learned about an Inuit evil mermaid type creature called the Qallupilluit, if you want to check that out for possible inspiration!

The music perfectly captures the mysterious dread feeling of that spooky looking forest in the pic. Have you heard any of the soundtracks of American composer Robert Cobert? He did the theme music for the old TV series Dark Shadows, Night Stalker, and 70's films Burnt Offerings, Trilogy of Terror among many others. Sometimes I get a vibe of his music in your videos. I particularly loved his use of brass instruments to create suspense.

From México Is a leyend based on a tragedy a part of the desert of Mexicali in a stated of the nort near the border theres a place call "El chinero" for what happend, The leyend says when the mexican revolution started a lot of slaves that used to work in building the mexican raildroad lines try to escape for because they didnt speak spanish AND they owners scared of General Pancho Villa, let the slaves for dead the bad thing was the slaves were japanese, chinese, from tailand, AND other parts of Asia, some even couldnt remove the chains, so all group as one With one goal return home so they try their luck with the desert, the bad thing was only a young Man in his 19 years Made, It out he was help by the few towns AND tell them what happend a gruop gather to try help the straglers, but they found the rest of the already dead, cover by the sand, starting With a natural momification process, the Man who found them didnt dare to touch the bodies out of fear, or try to give them a proper burrial AND let them there, the leyend says that in the night when the desert Is most quiet AND the dark Is master of all, you can listen to voices speaking diferent tongues in sadness AND desspair all with one feeling "I want to go home" thank you for reading
