They then realized that the male superhero in the purple cape was called Mr. Justice. Drawing the conclusion from court, to justice, to Mr. Justice, they realized that Amicus Curiae, "Friend of the Court" could also be read as "One who assists justice". This fits with the character as this "One who assists justice" was trying out to be Mr. Justice's sidekick, or assistant, thus "one who assists justice" is also "One who assists Mr. Justice"
