Biggest mistake was the lead singer, as usual, went out to do their own thing. Most times the BAND makes it, with some exceptions.

@@danielnovak5357..... They did good for a while without Larry. That's the way it almost always is. Or one of the others will leave. Saw it with Highway 101, Paulette Carlson left. Ricochet the drummer left then the fiddle player , Lonestar, John Rich left I think. Little Texas, Brady Seals left to go solo.

Great singers don't have to "force" or embellish their voices. They do it with ease and without the aid of computerized equipment. That's why this kind of music is so pleasant to listen to.

I just saw Restless Heart tonight outside Austin in Cedar Park. These guys nailed it!! Unbelievably talented musicians, perfect harmonies and so great to see them live after all these years. Totally worth the trip from AZ. Congrats on 35 years gentlemen!

Had a girlfriend back in the 80's . Blonde hair and the most beautiful blue eyes. I will never forget her walking away crying when we broke up. Every time I hear this song I think of her .

I was 17 when that song came out. Just as powerful today as it was back then. The artists today could stand to take a lesson or 3 from them. Dam, I miss that era of not only Country, but Rock as well. Real talent back then.

This is the first time seeing the video, and I looked it up mainly to find out who sang that line confident it was going to be John Dittrich. Pleasantly proven wrong, but all the same Paul kills it. This is the real deal.

When I was really little (34 years old when writing this) my dad had a cover band. He let me get up on stage with him and "play" a toy guitar. This was one of their most popular cover songs. It was one I will always remember and have a soft spot for because of that very reason. My father is still living as well.
