Luke I absolutely love your content, you're one of the reasons why people don't even need cable anymore. This is highly educational as well as entertaining. I also appreciate the love you have for nature and animals, not only I learn about gear on reviews but you've taught me to appreciate our land, its weather, the resources, etc... If I could go on and on I would, great videos, great channel, amazing attitude. Keep up the awesome work brother.

Those horses are awesome, beautiful animals. Horses are very sociable and are also inquisitive. They are also a very good judge of character when it comes to humans. They know when a human is or has evil intent and when someone is peaceful at heart. I have been around and owned horses and they are some of the most loyal companions a man or woman could ever have. Thanks for the video, cheers

Thank you my friend. Glad you enjoy it. As for double walled tents, they will not prevent condensation but they will help divert it outside of your sleeping area. Condensation is all about environmental conditions and airflow. Personally I like doubled walled tents over single but they do come with added weight.

Hey Brother, Great video. Not only fascinating views, but great tips and information on your gear. I must say, one of the true pleasures of watching your videos, is listening to you articulate yourself without using a million "aaaah's" "Umm's" "whatever" and other verbal diarrhoea. This adds to the professionalism of your presentations. Thanks again for a great video. Well done, Brother.

Luke, thank you for such amazing content. I am an artist living in a city in Australia and its hard for me to find the time to get out to the bush. Not only do I learn a lot form your videos, I at least get to go with you on your adventures, which does in some way help me to feel like I get out more than I do. I have viewed pretty much all of your content over the last few weeks while I have been drawing away and its all awesome. Love to see the gear in action too. Hope all is well brother and keep up the good work!

Great question! I have been thinking about this as well and might do that with the up coming storm. I was thinking a small pack. Thermal blanket, knife, a bit of food and basically head out into the woods, create the shelter and hunker down. I hope this storm pans out.

Hey Luke have you ever thought of mounting on of your cameras to a bike helmet Which could be removed easily and held for your normal filming that way you can be faster when hiking you could still remove it set it up to watch you walking away then run back grab it put it on quickly and your ready to roll!

Great video and nice to view the "whole" trip, too. Years ago I was struck by lightning, and my trips were less afterwards. But I used to go on some awesome treks that I still have memories about. Never give it up, son-- just let the outside world be your oyster and know in your heart that all your trips are worth more than any man made treasure. Enjoy. J.B.

Yeah, for a time I did not want to be outside. The cloud that got me kinda came up sudden. There was no rain with it and it wasn't even threatening. But it hit me(flash) and I was twirling on the seat of my pants, was all wet(not rain), my watch stopped, my hair was freaked out and there was a crowd around me when I looked up. All I remember was that I was sweeping with a metal handled broom in a parking lot and I started hearing this progression of popping sounds up until the big blast. Hey, that's behind me now. I'm okay. Rain or shine, I just go!

Once the bugs are no longer a concern, I leave the nest of my ShangriLa-3 at home and just use a ground cloth. Drops the weight and bulk while making set up and take down simpler. They're a great tent for wind as long as your surroundings don't require a free standing tent. Love the head room. Thanks for making these videos!

If you find a half net, with bathtub floor, you get a dirt floor for half the floor area to use for boots, etc. I had that GoLite Shangri-La: it is very beautiful. I reviewed it, on Trailspace. It was stolen, but it is not your Shangri-La. I didn’t have the net tent insert. I enjoy your videos. I have no talent for making video, myself. 😢

Hey, nice to meet you too. I've spent only a few night in the new tent, so not so much experience yet. The second night was pretty windy and the Akka Endurance 3 was really good. Very stable.
