Passenger mirrors were an option back then. Some cars not even an option. My 65' Barracuda and 69" Road Runner had no passenger mirror. It was no big deal never even missed them. The first car I got with a passenger mirror was not until the early 80s. My current car is a 17 SS Camaro 6spd with the LT1. Bought it new, now over 70k miles and still drives like new.

My dads old car was a 68 SS. Red with a black vinyl top. He had alot of cool cars but this was his favorite. Id totally let him drive it to bring back his youth. And live what little youth i have. 31 seems old. Haha

I had already done the calcs on my car vs the Hellcat so I knew it had a better power to weight ratio. Nice to know it performed the way I thought it would.

Hp is just a number...its how the car puts it to the ground. Hellcat is just too bloated and heavy for me to like. Trucks used to weigh in at 4500 lbs back then, not much heavier!

Agree! Grandparents lived in Chula Vista i was a 70s kid. Remember how empty the streets were, their bungalows had no fences didnt need them. Really miss that area, the rolling hills, general feel Went there a few yrs ago and was downright shocked . So many good areas are trashy, same as Ventura san fernando valley . This state is overpopulated, no end to it .Sad

When you're on it, you shift into 5th at 125 mph. It has 3.73 rear end gears. The only thing that will limit the top end is aerodynamics.

Supercharged mill doesnt need lower gears but Id do it anyways just for fun 3rd gear at 50-60 Id get in too much trouble Amazing how some of the best crate engines today are from GM they did all the R and D, hot rodding for us. I do miss a rowdy no vacuum big block though

I love how in all these muscle car performance videos, there's some poor slub on their lunch break from work getting a speeding ticket, while on the other side of the road, there's a supercharged lead up to a 60mph chirp. That is a user error. You need to pay attention to what you are paying for and signing up for. I contacted them after entry to confirm cancellation of my VIP membership so that I wouldn't be charged the monthly membership. Their customer service is top notch! They cancelled my membership. It was very simple.you can also enter by mail and through merch purchases.
