@Rozherhn
@Rozherhn 3 ай бұрын
@@flickwtchr It doesn't fit but the condition of the thermal paste is too perfect, it's as if it were very new, it is assumed that the PC had already been used for a long time and was moving forward but it turns out that I had just put thermal paste on it, but knowing how it is after 1 or 2 years ago it is almost impossible for it to be in such good driving condition, that is why I doubt that the video is true. After unsatisfying tries with Bootcamp, i dropped MacOS completely and installed Windows 10 20H2 as single OS. Now i have a quite modern PC with gaming capability (at least enough for DOOM 2016) and one of the finest case, a PC could have.

Commercial electronics are typically washed with deionized water as the last cleaning step, then put through a drying oven. You can clean electronics at home with regular water, but the trick is to make sure there isn't any residue and/or mineral deposits left over. First step is to remove any socketed ICs. Next clean with tap water + regular dish soap. Give a good scrub. Then rinse with deionized water or isopropyl alcohol. Leave to dry for about a day. Helps to place it next to a fan. Put chips back in.

yet another fake restoration. how come the thermal paste is still not rock hard? thats some bullshit. also washing the graphics card with water? are you insane? 15:45 bro....what is that thermal paste application?
@richwater296
@richwater296 2 жыл бұрын
common sense you nut. Thermal paste does not dry after that long. and that thermal paste application is thin. it won't spread out as much. water does not damage the computer unless you don't dry it propperly.

@@richwater296 Some low quality thermal paste definitely dries out, though it’s not guaranteed with age. Water itself isn’t dangerous, it’s the conducive metal and salt residues that remains after drying, which can cause a short or corrosion. Depending on the water makeup, the risk will be higher or lower for damage, but always present. The right way is to use distilled water and specialty PCB detergent.

I've cleaned this Mac as well. Even with the full dusty machine, after everything is disassembled, the good old soft paint brush does the trick. Sure, it takes time and effort, but that'a how it's done. Air compressor doesn't really work, because it leaves the thin dust layer. As for washing the components, savage! Also, never put the case on the floor, because it gathers the dust so fast and too much that in the end everything inside looks like a jungle. Put it on the table instead and clean it every 6-12 months. That way you don't need a deep cleaning like this.
