I bought two weeks ago an i5 4570 + 16gb ram + 1150 mobo. My plan is to upgrade to i7 4770 or 4790. but I need a gpu to be able to play cs2 at some decent fps. Which one should get? RX580 IS COOL but very pricey for me.

I love this video! Lots of 'pc upgrade' videos YT recommends to me are going from crazy specs to crazier specs. I'm trying to go from potato specs to modest-but-works, and this is a really encouraging example! Thanks

I Wouldnt recommend the rx 580,570, 480 or even 470, they will burn those cables hot as soon as possible. They draw too much wattage. I'd propose Nvidia 1650, even a 3050 over AMD. They draw less wattage through the connector, and share through the motherboard. This is from experience 😅.

Minecraft and mojang don’t care anything about their game, so it will run substantially worse. You also can’t decrease the settings as far as you can in GTA. Although Minecraft was released in 2011 and technically is older, they have updated the hell out of their game and in turn, no optimization. GTA is almost the same as it was back in 2013, with some obvious graphical changes. GTA is also made by a good game company that actually cares about optimization.

To be honest my Chinise cheapo x99 build 4 years ago was not far from this only could locate an old PC case bare bone no casing just the chasis of pc to mount the parts and the start button was also wired in a similar way . I did film the whole thing; it's on my channel in Spanish, but there it is. I went from a garbage PC to a decent Ryzen 300 build.

The Title of the video is wrong. It should be "Building A High End PC From 2008". The current title sounds like you are building a "High End" gaming PC for your 15 year old nephew or something.

I must say this is a great build for a small budget. Modifying the socket for the sandwiched CPU and BIOS for it was interesting to see. Taking a cheap used pc case would be boring.

@deniel3195 Why don't you build this PC without a case? If you build a PC using cardboard it will be dangerous because it can make the cardboard catch fire.

@deniel3195 Actually assemble the PC with the case The cardboard is not a fire hazard but just be careful. I once built a PC with a cardboard case but my cardboard caught fire.
