After looking over everything and the demographics for my videos, I have decided to set my Toonami Promo Set Restorations to “Not for Kids”, As only adults (who were kids when these promos aired) view these videos nowadays for Nostalgia and Reference, not the current generation. This is the intended audience, which are adults now. I also do not enable monetization on any of these restoration set videos.
*Part of project to back-up promos for everyone out of Preservation, as the original Toonami team have lost the masters for most of these videos, and have stated they would appreciate fans preserving. CN Network Originals promos included for preservation of the original experience and for promotion of these great titles. Regular commercials included for original experience. DragonBall Z Next Episode Previews included as only a 3rd of them have been released in official releases.

Man thanks to Toonami my mom would make me record Dbz on the vcr so she could watch it when she got home from work. It was my greatest mission. ID also like to add now that im an adult with a child of my own i see the wisdom of her asking me to do that. It taught me to be reliable and was part of us bonding on a mutual level. Not to mention it kept me outta trouble. Trouble meant no TV.

There is an updated version of this dub on the Blu-ray sets. If you want exact same version you have to buy the Edited VHS. The original DVDs have the uncut version of that same dub. As for these next episode previews, they only had one per tape/disc so many were only seen on Toonami broadcasts.

*note that the blurays' 5.1 default track is the new audio with Japanese Score, to hear the og soundtrack version you have to change to 2.0 Broadcast Score.

It's the same font, from what I can see. (They changed fonts several other times after this though in official releases.) I do think the font size is slightly scaled differently on each, with the longer ones being more condensed.

There are several versions. The original singles discs, the orange bricks, and the Rock the Dragon Set. On the blurays they have on them all I think. Just note the dvd/bluray is uncut dub with this music and up to freeza they used another company for music. The only way to get 1:1 of this edited dub is oh the edited VHS singles. On most sets it isn't the main audio track anymore but on there as a secondary option.

Connect from VCR svideo to DVD recorder, then component out of that into BMD capture card at uncompressed 422 avi. Take that and convert to ffv1. Take ffv1 and use avisynth and scripting to deinterlace and resize for square pixel conversion. Take render of that, also ffv1 into virtualdub2 for neat video plugin for noise removal. Final is 640x480p59.94 and then I use VEAI to upscale to 2880x2160p59.94 (4.5x scale). Semifinal step I process audio with waves plugins and readd to the video file. In last step I render to h265 or av1 to upload a smaller file to KZbin.
