OMG! This is more fake than the ones where they restore Nintendo Gameboys, that coincidentally are also found in a dump. It's even the same formula, some dude wanders around a dump with a stick poking at things, finds an object to restore, takes said object back to their work area where they proceed to use medieval torture devices to disassemble and clean said object and restore it to something like pristine condition. If it were true, it would be truly amazing, but if one looks at the videos, including this one, it looks like that final assembly was actually filmed by disassembling the object, re-assembling it, and then causing the damage seen at the beginning of the video. The video sequences are then just swapped around to put the re-assembly at the end instead of the beginning. Nothing was actually fixed, it's just a trick of sequencing the video clips in the right order. I do actual watch restorations, and not only does this dude have terrible tools, he's not even working on a real Rolex. For that matter, it's not even a "super clone", it's just a cheap copy The giveaway to this part is the plastic movement retention ring. The day Rolex puts a part like that in the cheapest model they make will be the day that earth comes to an end. As for the video re-sequencing, look at the dial. The unspeakable things done to the dial during "cleaning" left marks that are suspiciously absent in the final shots of the "re-assembled" watch. Radial sunburst fume dials shouldn't be touched, let alone scrubbed. Restoring one is a nearly surgical procedure that takes ages and isn't carried out in a discarded tin can with a bit of water and a paint brush. Let's not even talk about the snap-on case back, Rolex case backs screw down, and require a special tool to loosen. Lastly, there is the matter of the bracelet. The least expensive authentic Rolex bracelets I can think of are generally valued at several thousand dollars. Even one with extensive damage would be taken apart and cleaned painstakingly. The bracelet and the case, being solid bits of metal can be buffed and re-surfaced by skilled technicians. If a link was damaged beyond repair it would be replaced. The pins and screws would just be replaced as a matter of course, they're essentially disposable. But the links would be treated like gold, if for no other reason than their salability to other restoration specialists in need of replacements. Parted out the bracelet might well be worth more than it's value whole. No one in their right mind would just bin an authentic Rolex bracelet like that. This is just a sham and a hoax. If you want to see what real watch restoration looks like there are numerous reputable creators on this and other platforms who do amazing work, go find one of them

The Cellini is the only division of Rolex that makes Quartz watches. Also the one that's seen in this video is a fake as well. Rolex doesn't make anything like this model where you can see the mechanism through the dial. There's no way that these pieces of trash can come close to $20.00 let alone $1,000,000.00

This is most probably one of those almost identically looking “Lollex products” from China. To be able to make such fake products requires a quite sophisticated production even though it is not the real thing. What lacks is Precision. The Chinese can definitely reach the highest level of precision and quality given time.

Where do I begin? Already mentioned: no ultrasound cleaner unless off screen. No oil, grease, or new stuff. Never been able to restore dial with a brush. Never used a hand held power rotary tool on case. Or hammer a Rolex case together. Glass back, don’t think so. And one last thing, how many balance wheels and hair springs can survive brushing with a brush like that. Find a staff that is hard enough to withstand that abuse. It was entertaining and sowed or demonstrated how not to store one and have it work.
