Did anyone else notice that the spigot shaft splines are almost completely chewed away? A pretty pointless job with the crap beat out of everything during the strip down and reassembly. No lube on the bearing surfaces etc etc. Pretty much a textbook example of how not to fit a bearing lol.

No new seals or gasket once that transmission gets in installed and the transmission once it has tranny oil in it and that dude starts shifting gears there’s going to be oil every wear that transmission was not properly sealed.

Love the safety footwear. What are you going to do with the gearbox, use it for a boat anchor, its certainly no use as a car gearbox.

Eso no es restauración, solo lavo las piezas y las volvió a poner, no cambio baleros nuevos, no puso juntas, uso silicón , a eso no se le llama restauración solo lavado de piezas y no entiendo porque trabaja en el suelo, no seria mas facil usar una mesa de trabajo? pero hace bien en compartir sus videos pues algo aprendemos diario.

As I've said before doing this for 50 years one of my best friends on the planet is a hot pressure washer I try very much to push myself to pressure wash everything before I touch it the last thing I want to be a super filthy Plus all the scraping and scratching and while brushing and all that time wasting the pressure washing takes a maximum of 10 minutes with the right pressure washer if you spray purple step on it and go to the pressure washer it takes it all off down to nothing if you put you drain the fluid out and then put in a quart of kerosene and spin it or shake it or whatever and wash it out now you got a nice clean internals I've seen guys on restoration shops doing cars all they do is scrape with a wire brush and screwdriver a putty knife paint remover get a fucking 3500 Pound Pressure Washer and pressure wash the son of a bitch and it takes two hours to do the whole car
