this is a 80s mtb geometry. well worth restoring. I would have modified to hollow tech, and 1X drive train. nice job!

Very well done. This is my favorite so far. I am curious as to the cost of having something like this done. In the US it would be significantly cheaper just to buy a new bike. Is the customer doing it for sentimental reasons or is it a cost consideration? I would suggest using a frame saver on these bikes after restoration. I would be worried about rust forming inside the frame.
