I absolutely love the folds, I have a fold 5. They are just as tough as a normal phone. they just have to be more gentle on the inside screen, which is easy. I wish more people would try them out. I had an iPhone 14 pro max and the folds are just amazing. I'll never go back to a normal slab phone. EVER!!!

With folding phones always be gentle with them but the inner screen is made of plastic which scratches easily so keep coin keys or any metal object away but when you fold it the outer screen is made of glass so it won’t scratch as easily as the inner and if you are a phone repair you should always be careful there are a lot of fragile stuff inside

I think these days many rubber band pressing together can create those lines, you also broke screen before which was perfect while you tested it, you didnt even drop that one, i think it was because of the pressure of that much rubber band with a delicate screen..please becareful from now...

С экраном получилось досадно. Учитывая стоимость замененных деталей и выполненных работ, то за сопостовимую цену можно найти Fold 4. С точки зрения здравого смысла выходит, что при таких повреждениях имеет смысл другое устройство купить.

The green line thing is so unfortunate, I can't believe how delicate these new flexible oled displays are!!! I use cheap special Clamps for clamping together devices after gluing but even those aren't a perfect solution. It's fortunate that the green line is in a spot where it possibly wouldn't bother most ppl but then again imagine paying 400 dollars and getting anything besides perfection. The repair costs of these devices is really out of hand. It should cost maybe 100 to 200 max to do the repair but they tax so hard for the hardware that it makes it super hard to charge decent labor rates.

If u think its only worth 100 to 200 to fix a phone then you can fix it yourself. Easy for people that dont know how to do it to put their own prices. Lol but yet are probably same ones that want 40 or more to drive a forklift or boss people around while doing nothing. Thats like sayin people that do fork lift only need to be paid 10 a hr bc all ur doing is sitting and driving. People really have no idea the knowledge all they see is what they think something is worth to them. Fix ur own stuff.

@dean18420 easy for you to just assume I don't know how to repair a phone despite the fact I watch videos like this one which to a smarter person would suggest I likely do know how to. I have fixed and worked on many devices. My issue isn't with the labor cost it's with the price of the hardware. I think the individual hardware is way over priced. You can clearly see im right when people are buying second hand and recycled displays or other parts rather then new ones just to make the repair costs slightly more reasonable. If the cost of replacement hardware was reduced significantly it would cause less new phone sales so companies do this on purpose. It's going to take some sort of legal actions for that to ever change. Laws meed to be enacted to make repair costs reasonable and within a reasonable profit margin for the manufacturers of the repair hardware. What surprises me is that no companies seem to be monopolizing on the repair hardware sector and using the high costs to get a head start into the sector to then eventually bring down costs and take it over.

so far all the folds iv seen with cracked screens along the center appear to be from people leaving screen protectors o that have bubbled up. YOu need to take that off ASAP as it puts extra pressure and stress on the thin glass.
