Hallo,Opelmanta. I once had an Opel Ascona 16S ( early 70s....same undercarriage) I see,you are from GM.TOO!!!!Nice video of the tandem provided Dodge WC. (side valve 92 HP) This vehicle is definitely NOT second to the GMC cckw .With the difference, the latter had no side valve block. It had 112 HP. Does not alway mean a thing(due to transmission)These vehicles will always remain a legend in the scene and are still going strong.!!!!

If those are "modern" soft copper brake lines they may be illegal and may be dangerous, working well under light pressure or bursting during hard or emergency braking. Steel, stainless steel and nickle-copper alloy approved line and a double flare tool to prevent blow out extrusion of the line at the fittings are necessary. Also fittings such as T-junctions must be of proper material for hydraulic pressures. Protect yourself, the investment and all your hard work but firstly be safe.

OUTSTANDING JOB !!! YOU MIGHT CONSIDER ADDING A WIRE CUTTER ON THE FRONT BUMPER A PLYWOOD WEAPONS CASE(FOR YOUR B.A.R.ATOP THE DASH BOARD) A TARP TO WRAP AROUND THE FOLDED DOWN WINDSHIELD AND A MOUNT FOR YOUR BROWNING AIRCOOLED .30 (BEHIND THE FRONT SEATS) PIONEER TOOLS FOR THE TAILGATE AND A COUPLE OF JERRY CANS AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO!

those use the same engine , transmission , and axle ratios as the 4X4 versions , but dodge added a two speed transfer case in place of the single speed used on the 4X4 s , to give the engine some more gear reduction to cope with the added weight . if you like military vehicles the best book on them is called " the observers book of military fighting vehicles " printed by the olyswager corporation . my dad got me one when i was a kid and i still have although it is falling apart from me looking at it so much in the past

They were still being used in France until the 80's, as fire brigade trucks in rural areas. It was a completely familiar sight in my town. The only serious issue was the massive fuel consumption.
