19:03 Excuse me? ¬¬ You're not supposed to wash wires and circuits with water and soap, it ruins the circuits and breaks the void in some places, there's a reason why people do things with isopropyl alcohol, and if they use water, it's pure water without any type of minerals or sodium. Don't do videos if you're going to fake it or not put any type of clarifications into it, you're misinforming your audience, there may be an innocent person that will try to do what you're doing, and ruin their devices and machines because they saw a counterfeit "restoration" video, it's disgusting.

I was thinking using alcohol to clean the circuit board would have been a better option. Plus water will short out the parts if they are still wet when the keyboard is reassembled. Just use alcohol for the circuit board.

Isopropyl alcohol and a q tip are a lot better than immersing the whole board in water. Water is a perfect conductor and can short out electronic connections in the circuit.

Yes , you can wash with soap and water . And then dry in sunlight in three days and then to make it sure it is dry , blower in hot air .

Fake... é impossível restaurar esse teclado,Chips,placa, principalmente a placa das teclas totalmente oxidada,fora os conectores justa posição que provavelmente estão oxidados,..uma boa limpeza foi dado,mais funcionar, só de trocando dezenas de componentes e refazer centenas de soldas,..no final não funcionou ,a música que está soando é de outra instrumento..

Water doesn't have any effect on the motherboard provided there is no electricity. I wash computer motherboards with water. The only issue is reconnecting electricity when it's still wet

In a short time to wash pcb board with water is fine but you can't keep the water on the board too long. It would produce mold so it had better to use alcohol clean the board after water clean.

My primary school had this keyboard. It's so sad that in reality keyboards like this are thrown out "just because they are old". Unfortunately the playing at the end is fake and the sound is really coming from a phone. This keyboard uses FM synthesis so it's incapable of sounding like an acoustic piano. I can't fathom why anybody would throw a Yamaha YPR-9 in the rubbish.

Excelente restauracion de limpieza del instrumento, esta buenisimo para ponerlo en exhibicion de instrumentos antiguos ya que por el modelo es de los primeros Yamaha con los que muchos musicos aprendimos.... Una lastima que no suene ya que todos los circuitos los mojaron y alguien que sabe de electricidad sabe que no se puede mezclar el agua mucho menos jabon con circuitos tan delicados como los de estos aparatos Y la melodia de fondo es de otro piano ya que el sonido de la escala esta en C mayor pero en la 2da y 3ra octava la cual se toca con las 2 manos ya que sirve de ejercicio para los pianistas y para vocalizar a los cantantes...... Pero en la restauracion visual un 100, excelente amigo....

Concuerdo contigo, ni siquiera el men se digno a buscar algún repuesto para hacer que ese pobre piano funcione, vi las teclas y ni siquiera les hizo un cambio y de los circuitos, ni que decir lo arruino lavándolo con agua pudiendo usar solo aire comprimido, en fin el Men se aplazó y solo mostró un video de como lavar el piano Pero en conclusión, no fue una restauración

I have an old Yamaha PSR-11 it's from 1986 all black like yours, one stereo speaker on the left it sounds ok I call it " it's in Good shape" lol the left keys sound comes on and off sometimes but the rest of the keys are in pretty good shape, what do you think. 😊

My key's got wet from a storm. i dried and cleaned replaced and still a few did not work. i have around 10 YAMAHA KEY BOARDS FROM PSR 200 TO PSR 740. Mic system broke on psr740 . could i by pass it or do i have to replace the entire MIC System.

The large metal piece had deep rust and pits. At 21:00 the pits are gone part looks new. Did I miss the sandblaster? Sorry but the playing at the end of video was fake listen to music and watch his hands. I just wasted 25 minutes oh well you got my interest.

Interessant, das Video, das gleiche habe ich auch vor kurzem gemacht. Gerät war im Müll. Alles sehr gründlich gereinigt, elektrisch durchgemessen und überprüft und zusammen gebaut. Keyboard ist wieder 100 prozentig in Ordnung, und lässt sich wunderbar spielen. Da kann man sagen, dass ist Nachhaltigkeit auch in der Musik. Weiterso!!!👍👍👍.
