Bought this for my friend for his birthday, and he loves it. Father-in-law was a little jealous, even. :) Built solid, but light enough to move around for projects. Easy to use kzbin.infoUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe and makes great precision cuts. Doesn't come with a laser mount, but the fence is straight as an arrow and if you measure carefully, it's not a problem. Can handle dimensional lumber with ease, but of course, there's a limit to how thick. Handled a 4x4" post without a problem, but 4x6" we had to flip and cut twice. Only thing we've noticed is make sure to tighten the nut that holds the saw blade when you take it out of the box and maybe check up on it occasionally. For some, this is probably a no-brainer, but we neglected to do this and a few months in, found the motor running but the blade spinning at about half speed or less. Tightened the nut, and problem was solved. Very happy with this purchase. Dewalt makes sturdy stuff.

Judging by the S'on Phun spray can this guy is in Vietnam. I wouldn't recommend spray painting plastics. It makes them sticky and gross and you will regret it. Use a heat gun to restore faded plastic by slightly remelting it but only long enough for the color to change and not too close. You can also use Rit dye to dye plastics as well. My 2 cents. I'm restoring a chop saw now but will try bar keepers friend on the cast aluminum and polish instead of paint.

If you look closer the aluminium is no longer quite smooth but has scratches all over. It looks to have been wire wheeled off camera.

Looks like another tool from the plant where they make all the difference types of furniture out of pallets. Everyone runs it and misused it. Where the more you build throughout your day the more you make on your check.

spray painted plastic, rattle can on the base. Rusted rails. Not great decisions for a tool that you are going to use

Un lavoro di PESSIMA QUALITA questo non è un restauro Good morning I have done maintenance on power tools for a few years, restoring many power tools, but if I had worked in that way they would have fired me the next day, you put the spring on one side and the steel ball of the hob on the other, then this mania to paint everything indiscriminately even the parts that must not be absolutely painted, the steel sliding rods have not been properly polished, during disassembly beat with a hammer on some pieces in imitation aluminum, it is highly dangerous you risk breaking it, cutting at 45 ° you can see that it is not perfect. These videos are highly EDUCATIONAL for beginners who may be looking for information and ideas on how to restore a power tool, they only teach 'WRONG' and for those who write to you in the comments '' good good work continue so don't worry about the teachers who write 'well these people don't understand anything about electric tools and maybe it's better that they keep silent. A job of VERY LOW QUALITY this is not a restoration
