This restoration is fantastic. It gives a great impression of the station when it was in use without spending an absolute fortune and needing to replicate everything. It fits in with the more recent elevated Greenway. Congratulations and thanks to the volunteers, donors and designers.

That cutting is certainly deep and often has water in the bottom. There is a footpath over the field next to the bungalow and there was a deviation that took you to the cutting. We once saw a goldfish that had obviously been abandoned in the water there! That deviation has gone now as it was over private land. The other side of the bridge is my father in law's land and you can see the bridge from a slightly lower vantage point, the cutting is infilled but you can see the bridge and they often come from a company to assess the bridge, putting temporary steps down the infill to the bottom from my father in laws yard.
