Probably reviewing the video they took during disassembly if they get stuck on placement or want to double-check. That is how I would do it.

Thanks for a great video. Excellent restoration of a high quality sewing machine, comparable to a high speed Juki lock-stitch industrial model, used in factory applications. I used machines like this, since i am a professional tailor, but now retired. Machines like this one have a special place in my heart.

Before expressing my comments, I'd like to acknowledge that 1) I am COMPLETELY UNABLE to do this. I can refurbish vintage machines which are in fair condition, but this sort of work takes a knowledge of engineering and a dose of talent as well. 2) Mitsubishi, Maruzen/Jaguar and other Japanese manufacturers make superb equipment. The Japanese have produced incredible sewing machines (and more) since after WWII when they built incredibly engineered and precisely manufactured sewing machines for Sears and other vendors. They built these machines expertly and with pride. Thousands of still-working and highly-prized machines are evidence of this. I've worked on numerous Japanese-made machines; I like them very much and collect certain models. However, as good as this job is (and it's VERY impressive), I don't believe it's quite worthy of Mitsubishi. I saw some things I would not do, even with my modest abilities. I would never return a part to a machine unless it had been completely cleaned of rust and old varnished oil, then polished until smooth. Many parts on this machine were not. The gears were not properly lubed. The polished parts should have given a very thin coating of clean sewing machine oil after reassembly. The arm should have been welded back to the base and the outer shell should have been sanded and polished smooth before painting. OK, as I said, I couldn't do all this, partly because I don't possess all the tools required or the skill to put it all back in place appropriately. That doesn't mean I'm not aware of what should be done; I've been doing simple refurbs for years and learned a great deal. I give Kudos to the person who did this, it's truly a remarkable job considering the condition it was in when found. But again, I don't think it's quite up to Mitsubishi's standards. This is my opinion, I believe it's valid and I will decline to change it. Many of readers may disagree with me. That's all good, it's your prerogative and will be respected.

Ja chciałam oszczędzić środowisko i oddałam lokówkę do włosów do naprawy, zamiast kupić nową w sklepie. To na producentów należy naciskac, by produkowali dobrą jakość.

@@mdnoormdnoor8346 It seems many people making similar comments about putting things back together are equally as dumb as you. You don't realise that he pulled the damned thing apart and he has a video of it. Why couldn't he simply watch that video to remind of where things go? Actually the majority of what he stripped from the machine was only to impress gullible people like yourself. There was no need to go as far as he did, it didn't achieve anything. In fact he ruined any chance of it working, the timing was way out. If it was a car and he set it to Top Dead Center, it would be firing on cylinder 5.

Would have been nice to see it work, but my guess is it won’t, not as it is. You’ll likely be replacing the hook as it has to be perfectly smooth and shiny to avoid damaging the thread, it also appears to be out of time

I reverse engineered the Singer 95-1's internal timing belt and taught myself how to install it into the machine. You can search this on KZbin for the video(s) I made about how to do it. This clip about the restoration was disappointing in that I really thought a man this talented would have gone past the restoration to find a correct oil bath pan necessary to allow the machine to sew again...along with a bobbin case and some bobbins plus some thread too to sew a sample. Furthermore, the screen on the oil pickup was missing and not replaced. This was/is a dropfeed (presser foot) Consew/Mitsubishi factory garment machine with a 3/8 - 5/16 lift designed to sew fabrics at high speed...about 5K stitches per minute. The oil bath lubrication system made that sewing speed possible. And of course, there had to the a motor drive system on a 20" x 48" table top. Regardless, to have the ability to do a complete disassembly, cleaning, repainting and reassembly without service manuals is a task accomplished by a true mechanical genius. I do know one man who could have done this and he lives in VA. He helped me reverse engineer the Singer 95-1 timing belt which also isa part inside a Singer 96-1. Both of these machines first appeared around 1911 -1915.
