I love watching this from time to time, I know it was a labor of love for the boat and the true friendship with the owner. Many walleye, northern pike and famous lake Vermilion small mouth bass were landed with her. Wether the water be glass smooth or rolling waves this boat was the most stable boat on the lake. Hours of waterskiing and tube rides, weekend camping and exploring the 40,000 acres, 1200 miles of shoreline not to mention the 365 islands of Vermilion in northern Minnesota. Thanks to Roger, Jean and Eric. for all the love you put into YELLOW BIRD! It was a thrill for my father and me to get back into her for our last ride. The son of the owner. Gregg

What a beautiful job, I will do this to my 1964 Thompson one day, I call her the Valentina. After returning from the war in Iraq I fell in love with the bow of this Thompson, I purchased her but was not able to find a good carrier to bring her back to Miami nobody that was reasonable, so I flew to Washington, I rented a U-Haul and hawled her back from Port Townsend to Miami. I drove it in three days because I had to get back to work. needless to say she is the most unique boat on the waterways

***** Thank you. It was a real joy and privilege to work on it. I have now passed it on to one of my sons who helped me with it, and he and his wife thoroughly enjoy using it on Lake Vermilion, Mn.

Good work, hope the patch holds. I would have preferred a commentary as opposed to the music. Wonderful to see these works of art being restored.
