It's not really an authentic restoration as to be 100% legit one would have to restore the picture of that chap in workclothes pointing at the telephone poles. Decreased the value significantly as well as the historic & collectible desirability.

Это не реставрация, а ее попытка при чем довольно посредственная. Окрашивать корпус телефона сразу, без нанесения грунта и его полировки, это большая ошибка, сразу видно все неровности металла, да и порошковая краска намного хуже чем качественная эмаль. Оригинальная краска хоть и была повреждена но выглядела намного привлекательней чем нанесенная после новая. Шнур к трубке должен идти тканевый, а не современный пластиковый, витой. Суть реставрации, это сохранение оригинального винтажного вида, с минимальным добавлением современных частей и материалов.
