Nice work! I’ve had the game (and all expansions) for ~20 years and still haven’t painted it. The shame! As a nice addition, you can search out the monopose plastic box sets from the same time period to add more variety to your dungeon. This would include: Chaos Warriors, Beastmen, Black Orcs, Chaos Dwarfs and Dark Elf Warriors... and Saurus & Skinks unless you consider them as “good guys” minis. I have also seen one person paint up a unit of plastic monopose Empire Halberdiers as ghosts.

Those 4th and 5th edition monopole minis really go well in this game. That is exactly what I was looking for to expand it. Then I remembered that I need to paint quite a big pile of shame and stopped buying more stuff!!!

@@rushthewash Yes, that's the problem as it was intended as a way to start collecting miniatures. I like that it doesn't need cards though. I always lose them!

Warhammer Quest with the Roleplaying book is vastly better than AH in my experience. Playing without the Roleplaying book, WQ is more like the enhanced version of AH. What makes AH your favorite?

@@rushthewash haha I watched ebay for months actually and sure enough I found in shrink wrap for around $500, then a few months later i bought another one, it was opened but most stuff on the sprue and cards were sealed i ended paying about $260 which was a good deal. However the real bonus was that seller had the two expansions in shrink which I bought for around $350 for both. I waited months again after that, and sure enough I bought all 3 treasure decks brand new for $160. I was very lucky to get those expansions and cards in new condition. I printed off the deathblow magazines and had them bound also, so I have a nice collection that sits in a display case, i do dream of playing it soon with my 13 year son. FYI - you probaby already know this, but if you can locate talisman 3rd edition the miniatures are perfect for optional characters for WQ.

I always wait patiently until the perfect offer shows ;) most of my collection is either mint or still sealed, I can’t be bothered with dirty games. I also have a sealed Lair of the Orc Lord, but I’m missing Catacombs as it’s waaay too expensive in good condition. anyway enjoy the game!👍🏻

I am quite the opposite: I enjoy "dirty" games, as I really like the process of cleaning and fixing them! I guess we won't be outbidding each other any time soon! And, yeah: mint condition Catacombs of Terror is worth as much as a small apartment nowadays.
