This Victorian Octagonal Arts and Crafts Side Table was thrown outside of a house that was being refurbished. The owner gave me permission to take it so I could attempt to rescue it. I will show you how I repaired the heavy scratches on the table surface. I carry out a sympathetic restoration and refinish to a high standard.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Can it really be a whole year since we "met"?? How time files. You did a remarkable job on this table! This table was meant for your special touches. You're so lucky to have found it. I love your color choices, and the metallic touches were brilliant! The final result was a truly beautiful piece of art, that you can set your tea cup on. LOVE the mug! LOL That was a whole lot of sanding, Leanne, and I'm sure your hands were pretty sore for quite a while. As always, Charlie and Sully romp at the beach had me smiling from ear to ear. We've had some very unusual weather this winter and so far it has continued into spring. We had a warmer than normal winter, with hardly any snow. Spring has it warm weeks, then it turns cold again. Lots of sunshine, but some rainy days too. It went below freezing last night, and my daffodils are NOT happy about that. I don't think they'll last too much longer. They did bloom early because of the warmer weather and sunshine, so they're about due to go anyway. Now, the tulips will bloom, and then the lilies will pop up. I love spring. My favorite season. I hope you get warmer days there too. Give the boys a hug from me. Will be waiting patiently for your next project. Take care!!!

Hi Karen 👋 I know right, that year flew by! I thought it was only the UK getting this bizarre weather but it appears not. What is going on??? I love spring too and I’m currently landscaping my garden (very slowly) and I’m desperate to start putting pretty and colourful flowers in but I don’t dare at the moment! We have had so much rain it’s crazy! Thank you for your lovely compliments on the table. I was definitely lucky with it. Hi sorry I am late we have had a nasty D&V bug rip it's way through the family this week 🤢 the only one of us ok so far is my son but he never gets ill 😅.
