The Omega Speedmaster isn’t the only watch model that made it to the moon. The Bulova Chronograph was used on the Apollo 15 mission and the Rolex GMT Master was used on Missions 14 and 17.

Omega Deville Quartz from the 80s becomes jammed and unrepairable if it doesn’t run for a long time. Omega’s gold alloys(sedna, moonshine and Canopus) have palladium in them that gives them the nicer colours and makes them extremely resistant to fade overtime since regular gold alloys have only copper in them which dissipate over time hence making them fade. The maker of the new GS Kodo was actually a musician who got bored and decided to learn watchmaking and the first major watch he created after his education is the Kodo.

I like the emphasis on knowledge. When the vendor mentions an intriguing fact, that improves the prospect for a sale. Plus the buyer can tell his friends about that fact and thus sell himself figuratively even after the first time when he bought it.

Man I wish I had some junk watches that were like rolexs and others to work on I have been tearing my watches apart and cleaning them since I first got a watch it was a Casio calculator haha and I have always done my own cleanings I don't have the ability to polish like the pros do but I do everything I can, I have always taken everything apart as a kid and tried to put it back together haha I have a passion ever since young to fix things or make them better and it carried over into my adulthood haha I don't know a lot but I learn crazy fast you show me or walk me through once and I'll never forget it especially when it comes to taking things apart and putting them together again, my passion carried over into electronics and I repair computers and friends and family's watches and sometimes jewelery but im definitely a noob with jewelry haha 😄 ❤️ love the section where you show repairing the AP!! :) that gets me on the edge of my seat I love it ❤️

Knowledge is power. This is an integral part of sales, I commented on another video about Adrian wanting the sales people being taken more seriously, knowledge will help solidify this. There are 3 reasons people buy something, they believe in the person selling it "Ah ha", they believe in the product, and you ask them to.

@@fredfredsson9480 thanks I thought it was a big no no as far as polishing ect them goes but then you see reputable dealers with a lot more experience doing it from time to time like in this case.
@C-24-Brandan2 жыл бұрын
@@nr1416 yeah I always thought and have been told to never do it ect but then you see a reputable dealer/person with way more experience than most doing it , like in this case so it gets kinda confusing especially depending who you ask, but thanks for the info appreciate hearing different people's opinions/thoughts.

Factory polished and serviced increases value. There's far more people who want a watch that looks new than one that is untouched, unless we're talking real vintage watches.
