to the people who think it’s real: 1. watch Elliott Coll’s videos on these restorations 2. notice how the mud is literally painted on in strokes like a brush was used, on the insides too where it couldn’t just get smeared or something 3. when he’s testing with the multimeter he’s touching the probes to random spots and not even making contact with some of the components 4. it has an sd card and it’s homebrewed, and the homebrew requires the sd card but there is no sd card when he first finds it 5. the language is on english. but the console he found is a 3ds LL, which is japan specific, and cannot be changed to english, unless of course it’s hacked. but again, the sd card.

The repaired "hole" is not consistent with the repair either...clearly that footage of it "repaired" is with just a bit of that powdery glue on the top, where you burn the whole through later. You also triggered the liquid indicator when you sprayed it with water, then magically its not triggered again in the "reassembly". If you're going to make a fake restoration video by reversing all the footage, at least say it in the description.

3ds user here, this is so fake, its ridiculous. Explanation: First off, the way they found it is not realistic at all. Nobody leaves electronics at the dump because it isn't allowed. And also, if you did find a thrown away a DS/3DS, it probably wont have the stylus or sd card in it, and if it did, they wouldn't be clean. Second, he washes all the motherboards with water. If you know anything about electronics, you know that if a motherboard gets wet, it wont work anymore. Third, it happens to have games and mods already on it. If you dont want your 3ds anymore, then you usually either system transfer it or format it. TLDR: it was staged, he washed motherboards with water, and it conveniently had data still on it and had already been modded.

Fake as fuck. This video was exposed a while who. They start with putting a fully working 3ds together then mess it up. The liquid indicator magically didn't even go off after being in water. Imagine that.

See the sticker which turned from White/Red spoted to pink? That is a water indicator. 13:35 it magically turned red/white again. How? Simple. 1) He filmed it working. 2) He took it appart and filmed putting it back together. 3) He artificially dirtied it. 4) He Filmed taking it appart. 5) He Filmed "cleaning" it. And then put the footage in Order: 4 -> 5 -> 2 -> 1 That is how the Water Indicator started off as un-affected, turned pink and then magically turned un-affected again. Meaning in reality: He took a DS and broke it beyond repair and then basically reversed the footage order.
