This is a Russian military radio station,named R105 M,a ultrashort wawes radiao station for communications at short distances max 30-50 km ,in tactical military actions,at pluto , company or battalion level.Very good device,i worked a lot with this in military exercises,when i was in charge.

Какая прелесть. С каких это пор советская общевойсковая рация стала вьетнамской. Да импортировали но от этого вьетнамской она не будет. А теперь краткий разнос видео. Эта рация к ним в руки попала 100% через ebay больше неоткуда. Снято видео очень весело. Разобрал он ее скорее всего после того как отснял материалы с новой рации. Почему я делаю такой вывод. Простой человек эту рацию в таком состоянии x*й разберёт даже с помощью вдшки и молитв. А если он ее и смог собрать то починить (речь не идёт о реставрации) это уже будет та ещё проблема ибо это агрегат который могут постигнуть лишь единицы по этому он просто выкинул внутрь керамических модулей и даже не подключал провод. По тому что этот провод если ты не маркеровал ты уже обратно не поставишь. А на счёт засохшей грязи под крышкой это вообще трындец, зачем наши инженеры ставили туда уплотнительную резинку из за которой ты хрен закроешь рацию. Если в видосе вьетнамцев внутри рации был финальный монстр. И да меня умиляет то как он покрасил эту резинку. Нармааааальна и так сойдёт

That's not a phone it's a Soviet Military backpack transceiver model R-105M / P-105M VHF 1 Watt FM. Apparently they were in operation between 1957-1960. They're highly collectible, kind of rare. I wish I had one in my collection. :(

Р-109м радиостанция 1 ватт выходной мощности по корпусу, шильдик Р-108м. made in USSR. В ремонте не нуждается. Шкалу настройки снял, а чем производил калибровку рации. И еще её не надо разбирать. Помыть и почистить, обновить надписи и поменять шильдик. Вот и все

I lot of work went into tear-down, cleaning and reassembly. Obviously it was never meant to be restored to operational status but still was a lot of work. So that your viewers can appreciate the amount of work involved, could you say how much time you spend in the different phases of restoration? You cameraman deserves a lot of credit too, he did a great job capturing your efforts and not getting in the way too much!

Anyone else getting tired of the “insta-muddy look” on anything being restored lately or is it just me? Like it’s mud finger painted and a simple rinse then it’s 75% restored... Well, I own a Nam era AN/Prc-77 complete (with stubby and whip antennas, an Aussie single ear phone headset with boom mic and chest clip for the push to talk button, a US handset and standard dual headphone set for dual plug use and backpack with the accessory bag for her. Also for power theres three (dead) original battery packs and a plastic pack that you can load your own D cells into (I use 10 rechargeable ) from the sixties that still looks field ready) and yes it still works just fine too. Proud of it, you betcha so you couldn’t pay me enough to mud her up for any restoration content, pfffft. I dunno what to believe anymore watching some of these vids...🙄

Exactly Tinymaths... I’m not trying to be mean but how many angle grinders, drills and skill saws can one watch come back to life. I watched an am/fm radio get dug up in a rice patty that was restored and when finished it worked and looked brand new. Way too many unbelievable parts in that. Either it’s a true restore or someone is trying to bs a bs’r and I’m sorry but I can’t give a 👍🏼 for bs... OR a 👎🏼 Theres real content out there to be found for sure. It’s just recently it’s like a wave of “wanna be” garbage content that maybe fun to watch, but not for long... like I said, maybe it’s just me...

О-о-о, прям первое, что на ум пришло - это ж Р-108М! Долго не мог идентифицировать сей девайс, но похоже это всё-таки Р-109М, хотя кучи фоток и спеков сильно отличаются друг от друга, да и модификаций их были десятки! А в своё время налазились по лесу с "похожей" р/с, когда занимались "Охотой на лис", мы их использовали в качестве р/маяков в середине-конце 70-х, но они уже тогда были списаны! 👍😁🤪

I don't want to be a jerk, but this is not really a restoration.... because we don't see it working. Pretty sure it will never work again. For example, I noticed the ceramic shaft for the VFO mechanism broke off during disassembly, and the calibration was completely messed up during disassembly (these radio's are very difficult to align to make the transmitter properly track the receiver). Also the front panel did not look anything like the original situation any more, unfortunately. But, you got more than 600.000 views for this video, so congrats... that is six times more than the most watched video that I have on my channel with restored military (and ham) radios that I show actually working....

Con una lija limpiando.... el barro?? estropea la restauración....deberías buscar un producto que no deteriore la pieza; como la inscripcion pintada en un costado que seguramente era del peloton que la usaba y eso no tendrías que haber borrado... es historia. En general me parece que la suciedad es solo exterior y si estuvo bajo agua debería estar mucho mas deteriorado, igualmente meritorio el desmontaje y el armado.

Сам ржал, как конь, особенно после шкурки! Да её хоть в чан с серной кислотой засунь, ей ничо не будет! А тут в какой-то краске-кизяке искупали, да ещё там, куда оно в принципе затечь не может! радиостанция Р-109М, с довольно большим радиусом действия! Использовали на диапазон 28 МГц! 👍😁🤪
