Restoration Rusty Hunting Knife

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this hunting knife at flea market. The handle of the old knife was made of ordinary plastic. The blade itself, in my opinion, was partially tempered. I liked the shape of the knife and decided to buy it. Well, let's start the restoration of the knife.

As, usual I use rust remover, then washed, dried ad oiled it. With belt sanding machine I correct the shape and cutting edge of knife. For polishing knife I used sand papers from 80 to 500 grit. Due to the blade was partially tempered, I decided to make a new hardening. I tempered the knife in warm, warmed oil. After tempering the blade, I moved on to its final sanding.
The handle of the knife, I decided to make from the horn of an elk - the material is hard, difficult to process, but interesting. The knife pads turned out the first time. I used brass pins. The scabbard I am made of genuine leather with a free suspension of knife. As usual, I made an interesting test for you. Thank you for attention!
The recipe of the dish!
Ingredients
Pork meat, salt, ground black pepper, onion.
Cooking method
Remove excess fat from the meat, beat it off, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fry on each side for 4 to 5 minutes over high heat. At the end, fry the onion as you like and sprinkle on top of the meat.

Very nice! I had a improvised dust collector that I tried with a grinder, too, until the dust collection bag started smoking an hour or so later. Turns out the stuff I sucked into it will burn pretty well. Fortunately, I found it before I went in for the night!
