Kudos for subtitles of white font on black background. As a teen, mid 1950's, I helped my mother make sausage from our own pigs. We smoked the sausages and hams. Wonderful stuff. We had real pork rinds not the puffed up snack of today.

Wonderful video. I enjoyed the restoration, the history lesson, and the sausages. And I really enjoyed the music at the end while you were making the sausages - American country music. As most of french people I like sausages of any sorts : thin, or fat, smoke or natural, with any kind of spicies as pepper, hot or smoked paprika, garlic or onions as well ! You are very lucky to have such tool to do yours sausages by yourself ! Congratulations !

Another beautiful restoration. I can just imagine your thoughts when you removed the seal from the plunger. "Where the heck am I going to get one of these from?". I think anyone who has pulled something old apart has had that thought a few times. Your talent for restoration is amazing and the love for doing this shines through. Veronika, thank you for your explanations on the history of these objects and for the demonstrations. That is one recipe I am definitely going to have to try.

That klobása looks delicious, and the machine restoration was interesting as well. I live in a part of Texas where many Czeck, Polish, and German immigrants settled, so we have very good sausage here. (Also Mexican chorizo.)
